Wonderful family hotel in Bernese Oberland
Recently we booked a week vacation at this wonderful place in Bernese Oberland.
The place was large enough for all our families, and we had it all to ourselves.
The owners and staff are very nice and helpful. The lodgings are very comfortable and clean.
The location is fantastic and the view outside is a dream.
The space outside was wonderful and grandchildren had a great time on the trampoline and swing.
Highly recommended for large families.

Excellent host and stunning location
The reservation was made in booking.com but one double room was not available for a night, as the booking did not happen properly. Daniel, the host, said it happens for last minute bookings and the sync didn't take place properly. Even though the booking site confirmed the rooms, please make sure to check directly with the apartment if the reservation was successful. Daniel is a simple person and really helpful and made the necessary arrangements to accomodate us all. He is living in the same place, so available any time.
Apartment with Mountain view has 2 rooms with double bed and 4 bunk beds and one double sofa bed. We tried to adjust in this apartment. The kitchen was well equipped, but microwave oven was missing. Other than that the rooms are spacious and comfortable.
The view from the rooms and outside towards the Haslital mountains is just spectacular. They have few grill places around. We did a barbequeue one night. Firewood was provided. For kids there is a trampoline, swing, slide and a small football ground. At the lobby you have a free coffee machine.

Good, but would have preferred to have foodl
It is very new and the accommodation is very good and the owner helpful and friendly.
The draw back is that there is no food. However, the owner made a recommendation for a restaurant 2-5 minutes walk away (depending if you used the road or walked direct over an area of long grass). We ate at the recommendation for dinner and breakfast (see my other review) and we're delighted.
The accommodation here is above average for space and the the bed and bathroom very good. The rooms can feel a little dark as some have an earth bank behind them limiting the sunlight. However, the views from the public areas and outside are stunning. It is very quiet and we all had a good night's rest.
For families who either eat elsewhere or use the picnic tables outside, this would be an excellent choice.
