Great room, great location and service

The family room is huge with separate environment for 4 people. Large bathroom with bathtub, all new. Cordial attention. Excellent location, you can walk to most attractions. There's a bus from the station that stops at the corner of the hotel. Comfortable beds, great bedding. Silent. Exceptional breakfast with lots of hot options, all of good quality.

Central, comfortable & convenient.

I was put off by previous review on this hotel but was pleasantly surprised and have been very content with our 3 day stay. Staff are friendly, helpful and the ticket for transport and discounts works well.
Lay out is very European and while a little dated , it fits and is comfortable. There is a lift.
Such easy walking to cafes, shops, and the discount card for transport etc is great.
Breakfast is ample and regularly refreshed each morning. Wide choices.
Rooms are serviced each day and there are cupboards and hanging space.

The hotel felt tired and run down. The room was very dated and minimalistic, the hotel needs a major upgrade and renovation. The towels were so thin The WiFi was absolutely useless, it was appearing and disappearing and we were not able to use it for 2 days. On the positive side the hotel offers breakfast.

Terrible customer service

If I could rate this place a zero I would. We booked for three nights unaware they didn’t have air conditioning. It was 97 degrees all of our days there. We canceled our booking the same day we checked in and found another hotel. This hotel refused to refund even a portion of our three nights booking even though they were able to fill the room booking. I spoke with the manager and was told that it wasn’t their problem. Terrible customer service

Hotel Weiss’s Kreuz Interlaken

The girls at the front desk are very nice and helpful. If you’re driving in to Interlaken, The parking is around the corner in the city parking lot. You’ll never figure this out unless you check in first and the explain it to you. Hotel is quite rundown. Interlaced is quite busy with tourists and walkable restaurants. This hotel was in the heart of town but was very substandard. There’s no AS but fans are provided. If you’re ok with Motel 6 or Days Inn like accommodations, then you’ll be ok. Just be prepared to be regretful when you walk around Interlaken and see all the other affordable hotel options in much nicer areas for the same or less money. I wouldn’t stay here again, even if you offered me a complimentary stay. Be sure to stop by Coop supermarket, there’s a 3 story supermarket right across from the train station. Best supermarket with the freshest food ever, believe me !
