Charming hotel near Interlaken
Very professional and nice staff at the Reception and breakfast room. The only thing we regret is our short stay in this hotel (1 night). Hotel close to Interlaken, it is worth experiencing.
We will come back to the Kreutz hotel to take advantage of visiting the Jungfrau region.

All right.
The rooms have some sense of being old. The bathroom has seen better days, but was functional. Worse was the balcony. The coating on the floor had loosened, and it all felt a little insecure. The rack was very worn, and I got tiles when I put my hand up.
This has nothing with the hotel, but it is okay to know that the bus to Interlaken/Spiez runs once an hour. The train doesn't stop at the station.
About five minutes from the hotel there is nice public swimming pool

Horror! Mold on walls, awful non-stop train noise at night for $230
- The room looked and smelled like from a horror. There were weird carpet walls and huge mold areas that were obviously ignored for decades.
- When we arrived at night, we waited over 30 minutes at reception while staff actively avoided eye contact. The receptionist even lied that trains don’t run at night — they do, every hour, right behind the hotel. The noise in the room was unbearable!
- When we finally got to speak with the owner, he refused to move us, claiming the hotel was full. He dismissed the mold entirely and even warned us not to contact Booking.com (!), insisting they “won’t deal with us.” He also refused to cancel the second night (!), despite us clearly asking to leave a night before.
- We didn’t sleep a minute because of the constant train noise and the mattresses were old, and uncomfortable. The old bathroom smelled like sewage. We escaped the next morning without breakfast.
Absolutely not worth the money — filthy room, dishonest management, and zero hospitality.
So far the worst stay we ever had. Avoid this place!
PS:Booking.com helped us get a refund, but the hotel only gave one night back — we didn’t want to waste our holiday arguing with this hotel.

OK stopover
Room and bathroom were clean. Beds were not particularly comfortable, but OK.
Room is so hot in summer. As the railway and road are just outside, it’s a bit noisy to sleep with windows open.
The hotel needs modernising.

Completely out of time!
There seem to be a lot of tourists from Asia quartered....you are ashamed in a certain way that there is still such a thing in Switzerland.
