Pretty good hotel in a great location. The price was right and in Lugano, we didn’t spend much time in the room. However, it was clean and everything worked. Plenty of storage space and comfortable beds. We had a room looking out over the street and enjoyed opening the windows and hearing the sounds of the town, but they weren’t bothersome. Not a luxury hotel, but this is a hotel that the masses should consider. It checks all of the boxes! Absolutely no complaints and the staff were very kind and helpful.

Fantastic experience!
Good location near the lake, extremely helpful and friendly staff, clean room with all the basic necessities, all and all a very nice room for an affordable price.
Would 100% stay here again when visiting Lugano!

Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The only real plus of this hotel is the location. Upon checking in we were informed that they no longer offer breakfast. The rinky dink elevator felt as though it would break at every floor. The hallways and stairwells are beginning to fall into a state of disrepair. When we got to the room it was more reminiscent of a low budget college dorm room than a hotel. It was almost completely devoid of any decor and a large column was smack in the middle which disrupted the flow of the room and you frequently had to squeeze around it. The toilet barely functioned and looked to have been installed by an amateur. The bidet, if you dared to use it, leaked all over the floor long after it had been turned off. The cleaning crew repeatedly blocked the hallways despite nothing appearing clean. They also were beating down our door hours before checkout time and walked in on us still packing up rather than respecting our privacy until checkout. The place was pretty quiet but I think maybe because we were the only people dumb enough to stay there. I never saw any other guests.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The spoke English which was helpful since we don't speak Italian. They had drinks available in the lobby for purchase and maps showed us where our location was on the map. Very helpful.Hotel is cute and charming basic, clean, there was a little wear visible around the bathroom trim but minimal. Hotel is in an excellent location near a store that sells groceries, clothing and other items. Near many restaurants and shops. A 5 minute walk from the lake. Highly recommend.

It’s walkable, due to the slopes and stairs, should take the funicular or bus to hotel. Very old, limited supply. Our room is very small. Sink (in the room), toilet (with door) and bath area (with clear glass door) are separate. Space at end of bed not even big enough for a ck luggage to go through.
