homely house to feel good

A very family home, we felt comfortable from the beginning. Room “B” is beautiful, bright, windows on two sides, large balcony with wonderful mountain views. (Room "C" has the same advantages)
In the house everything looks very new and well maintained.
The boss of the house, Mr Gabriel, is always ready for a conversation and can give very good tips.
E.g. that the Chamonna Lischana hut visible from the hotel is not the pass altitude, but is only at 2500 m above sea level and that you have only reached the Rims pass at 2940 m above sea level when you see a “red bank” and that even with some climbing in between. Thank you Mr Gabriel, that was very helpful!
In the course of the TAR, a very nice “breakfast fairy” had already provided a buffet with everything that goes with it at 05:30. Thank you very much for that.
And in the homely restaurant, Mr. Gabriel spoils a man with his cooking skills in the evening (if he doesn't drop out because he got off the bike wrong).
A highly recommended hotel/restaurant.

A little more expensive than what I would have expected, but the room was comfortable enough. Dinner was good and breakfast was standard.

Beautiful little hotel in the village center of Scuol. Very friendly and helpful staff, and a great breakfast buffet.

A nice little hotel, but could be better service and a bit more flexible on late checkouts, dinner arrangements and slow dinner service.
