In the countryside

Hotel located in a quiet area, Friendly Welcoming, Managers available Bucolic setting, private parking. Breakfast on top.

Chaming hotel ... lovely owners... quiet location.

We were very impressed with this quiet hotel in Winterthur. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was great! The owners/hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location is in a very quiet area, with no "road noise".

Very good quiet well designed hotel

We stayed a night here and found it quiet, charming, comfortable and clean. There was a sweet welcome when we arrived, a feeling of informality, and we liked very much the colours and design of our room. The beds were very comfortable.The fittings were practical and well considered. The breakfast was varied and copious in choice. The atmosphere was very cosy. The owner had bought paintings from all over the place when travelling and they make it very joyous. Parking was easy and close to the entrance. The only shortcoming, typical of Swiss hotels ( usually much less pleasant than this one) was a lack of a fan or air conditioning. Apparently the latter is not legal in Switzerland.

Business trip

Hotel is placed quite outside of centre (about 5 min by car) but in a quiet place. Opposite the hotel there is a forest with view point on top which is nice for walking/jogging. Hotel has not so modern room but it is enough for a few nights. Breakfast are very good and tasty! And I can't forgot on Mrs. Jakoubi, very pleasant woman. :)

Nice, clean, very friendly place tonstay

We chose this hotel because of the proximity to the Zurich airport - we had to be there for a flight the next day.
The location was nice and quiet. The room was roomy and the shower was awesome.
We walked about 20 minutes to get to the train station and the downtown restaurants.
Breakfast was adequate - everything about our stay was nice. Might look for a place a little closer to town next time, though.
