Quite good
Quite overpriced as often in Switzerland but besides this a pretty good hotel. Very conveniently located, good service and breakfast. Equipment as expected in this mid-range category. Very quiet despite the railway station proximity.

Great location, that is the best part of the hotel.
+ Great location. By the train station, yet quiet.
+ Good breakfast buffet.
+ Large room.
- After the shower, the bathroom was flooded due to a crack in the shower wall.
- The reception is not staffed at 8:30 AM.

A bit disappointed with this establishment.
The strong point of this hotel is its proximity to the train station and the city center. The rooms are quiet, even those facing the train station.
On weekends, the reception closes at 6 PM, so the check-in process is done using a code for the front door and an envelope containing the keys: not very welcoming. The rooms are very basic, lacking charm. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired in the bathrooms.
At breakfast, there is no welcome. Everything is done independently. The offered products are quite basic.
No parking at the hotel. You have to park at the train station. The hotel offers a discount. We still paid 60 CHF for 2 days.
Conclusion: a hotel without charm and with a disappointing value for money.

Great value, great location.
We love staying at this hotel when visiting family in Winterthur. The staff are friendly and helpful and everything is of an excellent standard. The location is also so convenient for the station.

For large family with different room types
Central location right next to the train station and yet quiet. Coffee and tea available 24h in the breakfast room. Price/performance in order. In the station also on Sunday shopping. All bus lines on the other side of the station, restaurant next door, large shopping center about 200m away. Room and breakfast ok.
