A+ all the way — highly recommend!

We stayed here in May and it was wonderful. We did an early check in for 50 CHF extra. The staff was extremely friendly. The location was perfect - a quiet neighborhood in Geneva right on the lakefront. The room was very nice with a clean, new bathroom and comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Balcony with chairs and a table overlooking the lake. Blackout shades. Breakfast was incredible and was included in our rate. I don’t think the rooms had air conditioning so it might be hot in the summer but it was fine for us with a nice breeze from the lake. I highly recommend and would stay here again!

A magnificent setting, but disappointing cuisine.

After a warm welcome and a consistently pleasant setting with this magnificent terrace facing the lake, we were looking forward to our meal. We ordered perch fillets with fries (CHF 52) and a ribeye with fries and salad (CHF 56), expecting to find the quality that once made the establishment's reputation.
Unfortunately, the disappointment matched our expectations. The perch fillets were very small, unappetizing, and above all, tasteless. As for the ribeye, it resembled more a slice of 'Parisian' type meat than a true ribeye.
At these prices, one legitimately expects a quality and preparation far superior. This is all the more regrettable as the location is exceptional and the service was friendly.

A warm welcome and impeccable service in English

Very warm welcome upon our arrival. Being accompanied by English-speaking friends, we particularly appreciated that the staff could serve us in impeccable English. The service was efficient and attentive, and the dishes were both delicious and very well presented. An excellent experience.

However, there are a few downsides: the portions are a bit small considering the bill. Reserve it for an occasion where you prioritize atmosphere over value for money.
