A superb hotel

I was initially unsure as to whether to book a stay here, rather than in a large corporate establishment where consistency of accommodation and services can be expected. As an experienced business traveller, however, I enjoy the ‘boutique’ hotel experience when time allows, so this hotel looked to be the perfect blend of tradition and style. As it turned out, I was right! This is a beautiful little hotel, nestled in the heart of the old city and only few hundred yards from the lake, and a few dozen yards from a staggering array of designer and ‘high end ‘watch outlets (not to mention some delicious chocolatiers…).
Accommodation is arranged over a number of floors with good loft access. My room (54) was tastefully furnished and well appointed, with two comfy chairs in addition to a work area and very comfortable Queen size bed. Linen, including towels and robes, was spotlessly clean and clearly quite new, free water was refreshed regularly and the turn down service included free chocolates each day! The hotel itself is rather beautiful, but it is the staff who really make this hotel stand out in my memory. Unfailingly helpful, friendly, and professional, all the staff I encountered provided top quality service, from the porter who hurried out to pick up my cases from the taxi, to the lady in the breakfast area who found my choice of drinks a source of shared amusement. A great hotel.

Exceptionally courteous concierge and reception but restaurant and bedding quality controllers need to intervene.

A little disappointed in this member of Relais et Chateaux notwithstanding the wonderful concierge staff, the courteous and professional reception.
Two flaws:
1- too much fabric softener odor on the sheets, very unusual for a 5-star hotel in the group; every turn on the pillow generated a waft of toxic faux "perfume". Anyone with sensitivity to odors will likely have difficulty. In addition, the sheets, I did not specifically check the fibre content, seemed to include a lot of polyester.
2-the not-so-great breakfast both for quality of offerings (not great bread products, previously used jam jars, wait-staff distracted and not particularly attentive.
Paying top price in this expensive city is to be expected. Next trip we'll try somewhere else.

It’s a charming hotel with an excellent location for restaurants and good shopping, very close to the lake and all transport. As it’s a small hotel in an old building, its facilities are very limited: just a restaurant and terrace which provides all-day decent dining, good value and good service.there is neither a gym nor a pool.
The room
Amenities are very good.
The staff is all helpful and friendly.
It has a sister hotel right next door which is bigger, with a good Lebanese restaurant that has a spacious balcony extension space, good service and reasonable prices.

Excellent and charming historic hotel in the heart of Geneva.

I came with my wife for the umpteenth time to the very charming and elegant Hotel de la Cigogne.
Each time we have the particularly beautifully furnished Junior Suite 68.
Everything in the historic hotel is so well maintained and preserved. Moreover, each room is different.
The service in the hotel is very attentive everywhere. And it is located right in the center of Geneva, you can do everything
on foot. I can really recommend the hotel to anyone who comes to Geneva.
