Hotel Rousseau, potpuno obnovljen 2015. godine, smješten je u povijesnoj zgradi u središtu Ženeve, samo 200 metara od Ženevskog jezera, 300 metara od željezničkog kolodvora Cornavin i odmah pored Manora, najveće robne kuće u gradu.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend
We continued our holiday from France to Geneva, and unfortunately, this 3-star hotel was far below the standards of similarly rated hotels in France. It was a letdown in almost every possible way.
The room was already dirty upon arrival.
Furniture was visibly worn out and mismatched — like random leftovers from someone’s home.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable with a noisy and annoying mattress.
The towel heater in the bathroom didn’t work at all — the light would just blink and nothing happened.
Housekeeping doesn't clean your room unless you specifically request it.
The shampoo bottle provided was nearly empty.
The coffee machine in the room came preloaded with decaf capsules, and when we asked for regular ones, they tried to charge us — seriously?
Burn lights
The elevator is tiny — it barely fits two people with luggage.
Even worse, after using the elevator, there are still 5–6 stairs before you reach the rooms. If you have a baby stroller or mobility issues, keep that in mind.
But the worst part of all was the receptionist. She was an older woman wearing a headscarf (just describing so it's clear who I’m referring to), and she was incredibly rude from day one. When we arrived slightly before the official check-in time, she sarcastically mocked us for being "too early."
Later, I mentioned that the towel heater wasn’t working and only blinked, and she dismissively said, “Don’t you know the government shuts off the power in summer to save energy?” — which made no sense. When I pointed out that it was unreasonable for the government to control the hotel’s internal amenities, she changed her story and said, “Someone on the floor above caused a fire once by leaving clothes on the heater, so we shut them all off.”
This kind of inconsistent and sarcastic communication is unacceptable for any guest-facing staff. It was the most unprofessional service I’ve experienced in years.
