Friendly Hostel Experience

This was my first experience trying out an hostel. I was traveling solo and staying in friendly hostel I had a great experience. They stay was comfortable for me. Clean beds, Lavatory, nicely vented, Had dry cleaning, locker options. The Host Helena and Alexander were friendly and welcoming. I had no issue while I stayed 3 days. I would happily recommend it to a friend. Looking forward to stay there again someday.

Decent Hostel

Decent hostel in an amazing location. The rooms are very basic, and beds also basic. Good wifi, warm showers and plenty of outlets. The location is what makes the hostel - it is walking distance from numerous sites in Zurich as well as cafes and restaurants

" Friendly Hostel "is in Rathausbrucke locality of Zurich next to landmark Hotel Storchen . The hostel occupies the entire building of 5 storeys which includes a terrace which offers a excellent view of Zurich and St Peter's Church clocktower.Manager Ms Elena one of the most hard working women I have observed as she alone handled the entire show at " Friendly Hostel" from Internet bookings of guests to personally cleaning the hostel and washing the linen. Most conveniently located hostel in the heart of Zurich Old Town with all the tourist sites of Zurich within walking distance..

COVID-19

Haven't travelled yet...charged though. Wanted to change dates yesterday, request denied and then charged today fully 7 weeks before trip....appalling service and response was you booked, you pay !!
I thought that we were all supposed to be supporting each other in this crisis? All I wanted to do was rearrange dates

Toller Aufenthalt im Herzen der Altstadt von Zürich

Gepflegtes Hostel, mit gemütlicher Einrichtung und charmanter Terrasse mit Blick auf die Dächer der Altstadt. Das Hostel liegt in der Fussgängerzone in der Nähe zur Bahnhofstrasse und unweit vom Zürichsee. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend.
