Has seen better days

The ladies who run the place are extremely nice but the "apartments" are dumpy and there is only AC in the bedroom. the entire place looks and feels run down. The swimming pool was okay but has seen better times. I would consider a different hotel if I was in the area again.

"Apple Bungalows" offers everything a holidaymaker's heart desires

We were already 2 times a guest at "Apple Bungalows" and will definitely be there again for a third time. "Apple Bungalows" offers everything a holidaymaker's heart desires. Be it the lovingly designed complex, the proximity to the very quiet picturesque beach or the pleasant hospitality of the hosts. For the adventurous there is a lot to discover in the surrounding area and for people who want to relax there is a quiet bungalow complex with the nearby quiet beach. Fabulous hosts, good location, great price

Spent most of July 2018 here in the lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bedroom bungalow. I stayed with my 16 year old daughter and her friend.
Lovely and clean throughout on arrival, we were picked up from the train station by our hosts, who were very happy to drive us into the town whenever needed to stick up on groceries.
The pool area was spotless. A few times we were given free fruit from the grounds.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Our main reason for visiting was to volunteer at Headrock Dogs Rescue Centre, which is a 25 min walk away along the unspoilt and deserted beach.
As we stayed in low season fewer than usual local bars and restaurants were open but enough to eat out most days within a 10 min walk.
Whilst we stayed, a new outdoor kitchen was i stalled out the back on the large verander, I hope this might include more cooking facilities such as an electric or has burned as until now there is only a microwave, kettle and toaster to prepare not food. When not eating out we are a lot of instant noodles, crackers and cereal.
Hoping to return again in 2019 and will certainly be looking to stay here again

Another amazing 3 month stay

This has been our 5th 3 month stay at Apple Bungalows and can't think of anywhere else we would prefer to stay. Our hosts Christian and Apple are so accommodating and friendly and make us feel - as they say - part of the family!. Guests that have not stayed before always wish they had booked for a longer stay!. Apple Bungalows are for those visitors who like to 'stop the world I want to step off' and not for those looking for the bright lights and lots of entertainment. The local bars and restaurants are friendly, excellent food and great value. However, if you prefer to self cater then the bungalows are equipped for preparing most dishes. The proximity to the town enables you to buy practically anything you need. The coastline North and south are well worth exploring and a visit Hua Hin or Prachuap Khirikhan by train are well worth the trip - and the 3rd class train is very entertaining for pennies!. Christian will take you to the station for the 8.45am train free of charge - he will also take you into town to shop if you don't have transport.
