loved this hotel!

Bangkok is a huge bustling city. When you arrive at Kessara you feel like you are coming home. It is so relaxing and peaceful. We had a room in the back and we could hear the birds singing in the morning. The staff was friendly and helpful. They did let us store our luggage on our departure day. Highly recommend this hotel!

A gem in the bustling city of Bangkok

Kassara is a an oasis of calm within walking distance of Lumpini Park and Silom. The photographs shown on the website are accurate. This lovingly restored house is kept up well, but retains its charm. The beautiful teak floors maintain their character by a leave-your-shoes-at-at-the-door policy. All amenities in the bedroom are up to par and the beautiful beds assure a restful sleep. The morning breakfast was prepared to order. The staff is what sets this hotel apart from many others. They are caring and attentive without being omnipresent. An example of their level of customer service; I accidentally left 2 shirts in the closet after check-out and, without even asking, they put the shirts in a box and mailed them to USA. Outstanding.

Peaceful Oasis in Bangkok.

I have stayed for 2 days at Kessara Hotel. I enjoyed my stay very much and can only recommend to book this small Hotel right in the middle of busy Bangkok. The house was carefully restored and is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Staff was very sweet and it felt like home very far away from home.

Unbelievably good experience

Unbelievably good experience, will definitely be staying here again. The rooms are SO cute and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. They made us cute towel animals and covered the bed in roses for our honeymoon and even gave us a birthday cake for my wife based on her passport (we didn’t even tell them it was her birthday!) Everything you would want from a boutique hotel experience with perfectly curated design and service.

Amazing Thai hospitality in a restored traditional home

Kessara Hotel is a wonderful alternative to the big chain hotels in Bangkok. It's right in the middle of Silom (one of Bangkok's busiest and most central neighborhoods), but feels a world away. The hotel is a restored traditional Thai wooden house with only a handful of rooms. We had a standard room, which had a very comfortable queen bed and a beautifully designed bathroom.
This is much more a bed and breakfast than a traditional hotel. It really feels like you're staying in someone's home. Yet it's just a 5 minute walk from the SkyTrain and Silom Road. We enjoyed the traditional Thai breakfast (although a Western breakfast was also available).
