Cozy budget friendly peacefull small hotel that i loved

Loved this place. Seems like it was just a big privat house which was remade to small hotel. Small rooms, but everything is so cozy here. It is clean, it is very quiet because located at generally calm and quiet soi at side alley (can be not very easy to find at first). Nearest MRT or BTS station pretty far from it, so this is a problem. Motorbike or tuk-tuk unavoidable. And it is not far from Khaosan, which i personally hate, so it means a swarm of noisy backpackers in elephant pants all over the neighborhood.
At the rest only positive sides. Friendly nice owners with funny playful dogs. Everything is clean. Have a nice terrace for relaxing there if you do not want find some bar.
Water pressure...never saw anything like this in Thailand. It is even hurtful to take a shower if open fully.
Aircon work perfectly. WIFI stable.

Great little place with lovely owner

This little guesthouse is in a quiet location in a calm area of the city with lots of little restaurants and shops/facilities nearby. It's clean, secure, and has everything and more that one could need from budget accommodation in the city. Our room was good, and though the bathrooms are shared, they were always available, spotless, and with free toiletries provided.
There's also a little covered outdoor seating area with free tea, coffee and snacks.
But the real reason to stay here is the warm and friendly service from the owner, an extremely kind, welcoming and helpful gentleman. When I was back in the city for a few hours at the end of my trip and called in to collect something my friend had left behind, he greeted me warmly and offered me the chance to rest and shower before my flight.
In a city as large as Bangkok, it's really nice to stay somewhere small and personal. Paper Moon is a real home from home. Highly recommended.
