Pleasant stay !
I have stayed this hotel for 4 nights, centre located hotel with friendly staffs with good services, nice and clean rooms, good Breakfast, I highly recommend this hotel for Thailand holiday !

We needed a room at short notice - and we got one, so mission accomplished.
We needed to spend 'one night in Bangkok' (cue the music), but it was at the end of Chinese New Year week and we only had a day or two to plan this unexpected visit. The online websites were (as expected) showing very few empty rooms, but we found the Tarawish, it looked OK and had a room available so we booked it.
The biggest problem with this hotel is its location. It is really hidden away and after reading other travelers reviews, we decided to walk from the nearby BTS station . It was difficult to find but we managed it.
The hotel is small and compact and what I would class as a typical Thai hotel. At the check-in, the staff asked for a 1000 baht deposit, which is quite normal, and usually I will let them swipe my credit or debit card, but we were told "no, strictly cash only" - which unfortunately we didn't have 1000 baht in cash at that time. The irony of this though - is that 2 or 3 metres from the reception desk is a 2 metre high full colour sign declaring that "we prefer cashless payments" - yet we were now being told "we will only take cash!" In the end the staff said we didn't need to pay the 1000 baht deposit (and made a note on the check-in paperwork) - Odd.
The room itself was fairly small and had no windows to the outside world (just a small window to see into the bathroom). It was clear that this wasn't a new hotel and quite bland inside, BUT, it had been updated and freshened up somewhat, most noticeably with the addition of a hideous vinyl print behind the TV, which when I opened my eyes in the morning actually scared me as it looked like there were two eyes and a triangular nose looking directly at me. The TV had only Thai channels on it.
There were several notices in the room telling guests not to do this or that, and a very detailed sheet explaining how much you will be charged for each individual item in the room if you damage it or lose it or stain it etc. I notice from a previous review that one guest had complained that there WASNT a detailed list in the room explaining loss or damage charges - so I guess you just can't please everyone!
The bed was comfortable enough and we got a good night's sleep.
We went out for dinner in the evening but the taxi we had to the restaurant couldn't even find the way out of the road where the hotel is - it took him 3 attempts. Equally when taking a taxi home after dinner, the taxi driver couldn't find the hotel - and HE lives in Bangkok! (and had GPS too)!
At breakfast in the morning, around 99% of the guests were Asian and as expected, the breakfast buffet catered almost exclusively to them and ironically, we even heard one (Asian) guy complain about the lack of any pork products on the buffet, but as I said - you can't please everyone! I don't think there was any chance of a bacon sandwich for me then :) and the only 'sausage' available was a chicken sausage! But most of the other guests appeared to enjoy what was available to them - although my theory is - that we all paid the same price to stay there, so all tastes, diets and cultures should be catered to.
Just after 11am we received a telephone call in the room to 'remind' us that we were due to check out that day (I already knew that) and that check-out time was 12.00.
- This is one of my pet hates when I stay in a hotel, but it isn't the staff's fault they are just doing as they are told to, so I kept my thoughts to myself.
Overall, due to the short notice booking and the time of year (Chinese New Year), we were grateful just to find somewhere, and it was only for one night. The windowless room (and scary picture behind the TV) as well as the difficult location and sparse breakfast mean that I probrably wouldn't stay here again.
After checking out and leaving the hotel (before 12.00) - we stumbled upon a GPS map on the phone that told us of a short cut to the BTS station (just a few minutes walk). Come out of the hotel, turn right and walk 100-200 metres then, next to an apartment block are some hand written signs pointing out the way to the BTS (which actually cuts through the apartment land, but it seems nobody minds).

Trains kept me up all night. Very bad sound insulation.

As for a traveler ,my first priority in choosing hotel is cleanness . This hotel is more than what i expected. It's clean and tidy.We book a family room.We enjoyed staying there. It's near to market like 5-10 min walking . There is 7/11 in front of the hotel. There's shuttle service to nearby but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to ride it as other people always ride .Overall the atmosphere of the hotel is great. The only thing is its location, might be difficult to find and taxi difficult to reach. But if u can walk around it's good to stay.I will definitely stay there again.
