Great for families too

Lovely hostel that caters to families just as well as other travellers. Our dorm for 6 was perfect for the 5 of us, clean and nicely decorated communal kitchen, outside dining space on the balcony and an inviting reception with amazing staff. Glad we stayed here

Good enough

It does the job, is clean, comfortable and decent location.
Pros:
-comfortable beds and good sized rooms
-close to shops, walking market
-good WiFi
-all rooms have netflix with a hotel log in.
Cons:
-outdated plumbing. There is a strong sewage smell whenever any tap is turned on
- breakfast is limited to coffee and toast

Small hotel and very quiet. Walking distance to lots of places - food, art etc. Basic room but very clean and comfy bed and bathroom. A little noisy with other guests (mostly families with young children) but that didn’t bother me. Communal kitchen with a fridge. Free tea, coffee and toast available. Small pool - clean but no beds so not a place for anyone who wants to sun bathe but nice seating area next to the reception.

Don’t book through Expedia

Pro: The hostel is an easy walk to night markets and local restaurants, and the room was very clean.
Con: I booked through Expedia which advertised the property as an adult only and free breakfast, which this hostel is not adult only and doesn’t provide free breakfast. The free breakfast has now been removed from Expedia, but the adult only is still shown, and there were children in the pool. The property images portray a miniature oasis which it wasn’t. The hostel wasn’t helpful when I showed them the Expedia profile for the hostel.
Overall: I wouldn’t stay here again. Lots of hotel and hostel options in the area.

Positive Aspects

The location is great. People can easily reach the city's must-see tourist attractions, such as the Chiang Mai Gate, the Wat Chet Lin and the Wat Chedi Luang. Receptionists are friendly and kind. The room is spacious. The bed is comfortable. The ambience is clean and quiet.
