Well-Located and Comfortable Small Hotel
The hotel is small and pleasant, and I really enjoyed the breakfasts. It has a perfect location almost directly opposite the night market, where you can truly eat very well. At the same time, it is tucked away in a small side street, so there is no risk of your sleep being disturbed. The room had everything I needed. I recommend this hotel.

Room without hangers or tall cupboard!
I wish I could give a better rating.Was disappointed with the room for a few
necessities that should be there.
1. There was no cupboard for hanging clothes.No hangers and no hooks in bathroom for hanging towels.
Very strange!!
2. TV was not working.Told reception and still waiting.Staying for 8 nights so all this matters.
3. Door handle to bathroom was broken.Had to ask for hairdryer and hand towels.
4. There were stains on cushions on chairs.Needs some overall up keeping.
There are cons as well I must say
1. Rooms are bigger than most.
2. Floors and bathroom are clean.
3. We had a quiet room.
4.Reasonably priced rooms.
I hope they will look into some of the rooms that needs small changes.

Nice hotel but with flaws
We stayed here for one night and found this hotel to be in a good location for the local attractions of Chiang Mai. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and tidy... but... there were a few issues which, to us, significantly impacted this review negatively.
For one, there is no lift. This caused me a problem having been put on the third floor, carrying all of our luggage and recovering from a badly broken leg and ankle so anyone with any form of permanent or temporary disability should look elsewhere or make it clear at the time of booking you require a room on the ground floor.
The room itself was clean and tidy however, owing to the way the hotel is constructed, you basically have very thin exterior walls on at least two sides. At the rear are some industrial type units that were busy working with noisy power tools etc until the early hours and to the front is the busy main street. Noise was a constant problem throughout the night which kept us awake. Other reviews have mentioned a noise like a child crying waking them and we had the same, I think it may be something from one of the nearby temples or similar but, either way, it was loud and prolonged.
We only stayed for one night and, when checking in, were told breakfast started at 0730 hrs. I made it clear that we were being collected by a taxi at 0800 hrs and the receptionist confirmed we'd have plenty of time for breakfast. Funnily enough, we were still sat there waiting for the food to be put out when the taxi arrived at 0750 hrs so had to quickly scoff our food and run out the door.
On the whole, it's a nice hotel but I wouldn't recommend it. There are far nicer hotels in the same area for the same price that are much better value (Bed Chiang Mai Gate is a stones throw away and far far superior in every way).

Great value is Mhonsa
Took a while to choose this place, as the reviews were mixed. For the price, this place is awesome. A small hotel but that’s ok. Breakfast was more than enough. And we can eat. Pool was good, but would heat up through the day until it was hot in the pm. This is no fault of the hotel. Street food a minutes walk, 711 3 minutes. Beds are firm, but that’s ok, get used to it.I’d recommend Mhonsa as a good option for abase for week. At 40 to 50 nz a night , can’t go wrong.

Very bad hotel
It was too absurd for me to hear disco music until four o’clock in the morning, blowing up... The air conditioner went bad, I heard the sound of screaming like a child, I stayed for 3 nights, sleeping badly, it was simply a nightmare, I would not recommend everyone to stay in this hotel. Very bad hotel.
