Simple, comfortable, convenient and dog-friendly

We stayed here on our way to/from Bangkok to Koh Samui. We booked one of the cabins with a kitchenette overlooking the lotus ponds. The accommodation is simple, but it was clean and comfortable and the location was ideal to break the journey.

Peaceful and friendly, a genuine oasis

Ariya is a quiet, friendly, clean resort set in its own large garden on the Chumphon ring road. They genuinely welcome pet dogs. We’ve stayed twice in one of the cabins beside the water lily pond., which have TV, wifi, air con, a fridge and clean comfortable beds, as well as a private terrace to sit and enjoy the fresh air. A car / moped helps a lot but they can arrange transport. at reasonable prices. Only a couple of cafes / restaurants nearby but thanks to Covid almost all Chumphon restaurants do deliveries. The lovely resort owner can help tell you. The good options

Amazing.

Note: is preferred if you have your own transportation if you want to stay in this amazing homestay. The host is lovely, the structure is composed of 6 indipendent houses, 2 of them with balcony and hammok just next to a fish pond. The area is really quiet so f you are looking for a relaxing place this is the right one. The place accepts dogs without extra charges so it’s ideal if you are travelling with a pet. The room itself is well decorated with wooden wall, there is a spacious bathroom and a small kitchen with sink kettle and fridge, last but not least the balcony is fantastic, overlooking the fish pond, ideal to have a dinner, drink some whine or read a book.Complimentary water provided in the room upon arrival and instant coffee as well. Very nice noodle soup restaurant just few meters on the left on the other side of the road. Noodles with pork for 25 baht/bowl. I stay here for 4 nights but i will be back for sure the next time i’ll pass from Chumphon.

Für das Geld super und herzlich

Super nette Gastgeber! Sie haben uns für angemessene Preise überall hin gefahren. Das war gut denn in der Nähe gibt es keine Taxis. Wir konnten bei ihnen Ausflüge buchen. Klimaanlage war im Zimmer. Es war sehr sauber. Wir bekamen sogar Bananen aus ihrem Garten geschenkt und jeden Morgen einen Eiskaffee gebracht. Herzliche Menschen! Für den Preis ist die Unterkunft absolut zu empfehlen.
Wir dachten wir haben ein Zimmer am Wasser wie auf den Bildern gebucht. Hatten stattdessen einen Ausblick in den grünen Garten. Das war auch ok.
