Large room. Not expensive
We liked to stay in this part of Phi Phi, away from the party zone, and this place was not expensive, so we booked via booking.com.
We contacted the owner via the chat in the app for the pickup 600 Baht. From July to October, they don’t have free pickup. The drop off is 600 Baht.
We asked other people before that a boat going to that part of Phi Phi cost 1,000 Baht so we decided to stay here instead of going for a day trip.
The room is basic and old but ok for the short stay. The clothes cabinet was dark and no lighting near there. Wi-Fi didn’t work in room so we walked to the Reception to use the WiFi. The owner gave us a discount when we extended our stay. My booking was a “pay at hotel” so I asked if he wanted me to cancel the booking and pay him directly. He said let booking.com earn too so we all can earn. Very good way of doing business. Big thumbs up. He’s a Muslim I think and he attended the praying 5 times a day (I think). He smiled and talked to us each time he saw us. The drop off was smooth too.

Better than these people say.
Great value. Was way more chill than other side of island. Cool little town. Great hike to beautiful views of sunset. Cool lil taxi and moto ride. What i really loved was going to the resort next door and enjoying the amentiies of a 5 star resort. Be chill and act like u should be there and u wont have a problem. If you want action go to other side of phi phi where there is always craziness.

Nice beach, strange hotel
Staff was not unfriendly but also not friendly. We felt a little bit like the hotel managers personal ATM. The hotel is only accessible via longboat taxi. For check in and check out it's for free. Also every morning to go to Tonsai is free. The way back however is 600 Baht and to go back to the hotel from Tonsai after 5pm can easily get expensive up to 1500 Baht. Shops around the hotel (which seemed to be owned by the hotel owner) are kind of expensive.

Dishonesty, sistematic abuse of internet booking, and bad manners
I have to notify a severe and systematic abuse of internet booking by this hotel owner.
1) the accommodation had been overbooked to us, as well as to other two groups of Belgian guys and English girls, who happened to arrive there at the same time
2) the type of accommodation we all had booked (toilet in the room, etc) was not available at all: the intent was to drag us there and force us to accept a much lower quality of accomodation (i.e. No toilet in the room), given the overall unavailability of alternatives in phi phi coralbay in that timeframe. In my perspective this is a fraud.
