We booked this hotel with a handicaped person. The room had a bathtub instead of a shower as stated in the room description. This gave us and the reception people some headaches because the hotel was very frequented at this time. At the end, they were able to get us a different room. If you're in a similar situation you should clarify in advance. They offer also a wheelchair on request.
Breakfast was in a good variety and mainly Thai style. The hotel is a few minutes away from a evening market.

A positive surprise in Mukdahan

I chose this hotel based on a few reviews and the location. Some days after my booking I discovered some more reviews, and I was afraid that I had booked a hotel that needed renovation.
From outside the hotel looked quite all right. The reception was nice and I felt a bit relieved. The ladies in the reception are nice and helpful, even though Google translator was needed sometimes to get all the information. The two elevators worked well during our stay.
The rooms were nice. The bed was comfortable, the air-condition worked and did not make much noise. There was a fridge and a safe in the room. The view to the Mekong river was nice. The bathroom had a tub with a shower, but it worked well even though there was no cold / warm water handle.
The breakfast was thai based, but you could get omelettes and you could toast bread. Again Google translator was good to have since the labels were only in thai, end some days not present.
The location was good. It seems there is no real centre in Mukdahan, but the hotel is in walking distance from the Indochina market and the community houses.
There is a bar on the top floor of the hotel with music and the possibility to buy drinks
and food.
I found that the reception and the rooms were clean.

Weekend stay in town,big rooms and comfortable beds.We loved the breakfast and also the bar on the 10th floor.
The staff are excellent.
We will return next year.
