I stayed here because it was close to the 3 Mermaid Cafe Restaurant. The room was spacious and included breakfast. The front desk staff gave clear directions. I appreciated that there was a hair dryer in the room. My only complaint was that the sink drain wasn’t draining well.

Ants and missing money from a hotel room

I stayed in this hotel for six nights, and unfortunately, the impression was ruined by very serious problems.
The most unfortunate situation is that $100 went missing from my suitcase that was in the closet. The money was in the far inside pocket of the suitcase, meaning it wasn't something in plain sight. It is particularly alarming that before that I turned to the reception for another problem - there were many ants in the room. I was promised a spray treatment. I wasn't in the room at the time, and after that, I found the money missing. I can't say 100% who did this, but the fact remains that the money went missing from my luggage while staying at the hotel, and that is absolutely unacceptable.
The second big problem - the number was covered in ants. They were in the room all the time, which made it uncomfortable to be inside and store things. For the hotel, this is an unacceptable level of cleanliness and control over the condition of the rooms.
There was also a hot water problem. There was actually no hot water: the water was at most a little warm, and throughout its residence it never became really hot.
Of the pros, I can only mention the location: the hotel is approximately between Jomtien and the centre, nearby there are shops, bars, the Russian market and a money changer. The area is generally comfortable.
But all the pros are completely wiped out by the situation with missing money, ants in the room and no proper hot water. After this experience, I can't recommend this hotel. If you do decide to stay here - do not leave money and valuables in your room even in a locked suitcase.

Really good hotel for the price. We wasn't in it much but staff were friendly and room was always cleaned.
Pool was good for the little one.

Second time in FX

Back at this hotel for the second time.
Good location of the hotel- near Big Buddha, 7-eleven around the corner, to the sea minutes 7-10 on foot. There's a free shuttle to the pier.
Breakfast is good - there is always something to choose (eggs, rice, sausages, ham, fried chicken/fish/pork, broths, vegetables, pancakes, toast, cereal, coffee, tea, milk, water, juice; the fruit always had watermelon and pineapple).
Towels are given to the pool, and to the beach you need to rent them for 50 baht.
The room is good, there is everything necessary for living (two beds, refrigerator, TV, hairdryer, kettle, tea couples, daily gave out 2 bottles of water, coffee; private bathroom with shower, shower gel, liquid soap and shampoo). The air conditioning cooled well. On the balcony you could relax and hang laundry on the dryer. The WiFi worked steadily. Thank the staff - always polite, smiley. Always tried to help with all our inquiries.
