Incredible Luxury Getaway
We stayed at Anantara Layan Phuket Resort for a week in late May. A slightly less busy period with the start of the rainy season, and a 45min drive from the more populated Old Town & Patong, meant it was there perfect relaxing holiday. Plenty of interesting people to meet around the resort but really not crowded at all.
Possibly the best buffet breakfast we’ve ever had, and we also tried all restaurants on offer - amazing food! Definitely give the hibiscus margarita a try by the pool…
We stayed in a Deluxe Layan Suite - a stunning room with the most amazing view, huge comfy bed and every amenity we could possibly need.
Gym facilities and complementary activities (fitness classes etc) were an added benefit we enjoyed throughout our stay.
Impeccable service from all staff, including Fern at Reception, Nessa and all team members at breakfast, Kathy & Dao at the Spa, and Prince, Nook & so many others who looked after us at the pool. All staff were so helpful, provided recommendations for the resort and the rest of Phuket, remembered what we had been up to the day before and what we had planned for the day… they were always friendly and thoughtful.
Would definitely stay here again!

Exceptional Anniversary Stay – Flawless Hospitality
Our relative Baifern recommended Anantara Layan Phuket for our anniversary, and the experience was outstanding. Working in the restaurant industry myself, I highly appreciate the seamless coordination between the front and back-of-house teams to deliver such a high level of service.
The staff made a lasting impression. Thank you to Fern at Reception for the great welcome. Breakfast operations were fantastic, with a special mention to Nuchie and Kamille. We also thoroughly enjoyed our time at Breeze Restaurant, where Anne, Jinny, Bruno, and Mam took excellent care of us. I also highly rate the rooftop bar—the signature cocktails were excellent, backed by great service and spot-on recommendations from Sky.
The resort is highly optimized for families. The Kids Club was perfect for our one-year-old son, and the team’s thoughtful anniversary cake was a great touch. While the property itself is wonderful and beautifully arranged, it is the dedication of your team that truly makes the difference. Resorted as you see the white blossoms just stunning wow wow
Today we leave Antra Lian after we stayed nine nights and it was amazing. The kids were very much enjoying the new children's complex that even has an omega pool and a children's pool and also has a new Valencia complex with a magnificent hammam and fitness room as well as a hot and cold swimming pool for free use which is simply amazing. The breakfast is superb and overlooking the sea. A gorgeous service by the hotel staff that reminded us of our private name and helped us with everything. We arrived with 2 families and booked 3 well-equipped Deluxe Pool Villas next to each other a short walk to the sea which is a huge advantage.

Peace, relaxation and quality
We spent 6 days at this property to full, full satisfaction and this across the board. I state that the cost is not indifferent (I recommend avoiding periods with holidays and this is both from the cost profile and for the high occupancy), but what you get is in perfect harmony. Attentive service and this everywhere, from catering to room maid service. The restaurants present offer high quality standards (personally with the exception of Zuma, for which I did a separate review ); breakfast with a high quality choice to start the day in the best way. Beach ️ ... what I always wanted; peace and quiet away from the noise, from sellers and with few customers to exploit it. Rooms .. different proposals, we chose a Deluxe Pool (31) located in the central part and a few steps from the beach and the breakfast building. Spacious room is enough with pool, cleanliness and attention to detail. In summary: everything perfect and in correspondence to what was paid. Oasis of peace and tranquility. For the 3rd time in my life in Phuket and, in case of return, this would be the location I would absolutely choose !
