Just Perfect!
The hospitality and stay were perfect. Well-equipped, spacious, clean room. The location of the hotel - perfect. Just a few steps from a small, almost private beach. The staff are pleasant, smiling, helpful - true Thai hospitality.

Family holiday
Beautiful location, clean suites and very friendly and helpful staff. Bonus was the pool and resident cat. We had a great time.

Great vacation at Ao Yon beach
We really enjoyed our time at the Mooring resort. Our villa is so private and we can see the sea from the room. It's very quiet and you can hear birds singing every morning. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The beach is pretty and not crowded like Patong. More restaurants and food vendors and massage salons are available 20 minutes walk. Nearby you get The Cove restaurant next door to The Mooring and also food vendors along the beach. We were very happy here.

Barefoot Paradise
We had a wonderful five days at The Mooring Resort, which really felt like a Robinson Crusoe-style barefoot paradise at all times. We felt very comfortable from the first minute.
Unfortunately, I don't remember the names of the employees but everyone was invariably warm and accommodating. Questions were immediately answered. Once we reported that the couch pads urgently need to be changed, as there were plenty of spots of birds etc. The crew responded immediately and changed the conditions. Absolutely top! With a Grab delivery order we no longer had enough cash - the reception immediately helped and we paid the amount afterwards by credit card. That's what I call service! Thanks for the nice time with you!
Rooms:
We initially had a Partial Seaview Bungalow very high up, number 14. There were a few steps to be taken. After one night we changed due to the location and volume, the bungalow adjoined the higher street, to a vacated beach bungalow, number 2. The upgrade was worth every penny! You stand with your feet directly in the sand and hear the sound of waves through the wooden door. Pure idyll. Recommendation: Book a beach bungalow!
All bungalows are equally equipped and very lovingly decorated minimalist. Nice bath. Very clean.
Appendix:
The facility is small but fine. There are enough sunbeds for each guest and a sufficiently large pool. There is neither a bar nor a restaurant, but you can use it from sister resort The Cove right next door. There you can also have breakfast directly on the beach. However, the prices are extremely salted and in our opinion much too high by Thai standards. But it was delicious. The complex offers pure peace and relaxation. There isn't much going on here, but if you're looking for exactly that, you'll find your paradise.
Environment:
Within a 10-minute walk you can reach some restaurants and a 7-Eleven supermarket. Prices in the restaurants are also slightly higher. We can unconditionally recommend Ao Yon Seafood just around the corner from the Mooring and next to Panwaburi Beach Resort. The owner and his family are people of heart and serve very delicious and reasonably priced food. Super smoothies! He also offers trips to nearby islands with his own longtail boat. Otherwise, the corner is very quiet.
Conclusion: clear recommendation for all those seeking peace and quiet in the south of Phuket to avoid the rest of the hustle and bustle of the island. We would love to come back sometime.
