Fantastic - just another day in Paradise
We stayed at Phayam Cottage Resort for 2 weeks and never ever have we had a more relaxing and cozy holiday. Incredible personnel at the resort - thanks for friendly and professionel service. The beach - take a look for yourselves. We’re coming back soon - guarenteed!!! There’s not much to see at Koh Phayam, but if you’re looking for a peaceful place for body and soul - look no further. And one last thing, or two - the food at the beachrestaurants and the fact, that there a very few tourists, just add up to the chance for having an amazing holiday. Just pure pleasure....

Dirty cabin, but great location
Very dirty cabin, very very disproportionately priced. We were in a larger cabin (it was the only one available on Booking.com) only to finder that the smaller, and perhaps more modern, were plentiful. I’m glad we only booked 2 nights. I am an experienced traveller, especially in Thailand, and I know what to expect. But this was absolutely horrendous.

The images on the Internet correspond in the smallest way to reality
Already on arrival it was clear the booking (unfortunately we had already paid in advance) was a huge mistake. The appealing images on the Internet corresponded in the smallest way to reality. The garden unkempt, the same was true for the pool, restaurant and bungalows. We had reserved with sea view...., you could see something from the beach through the trees. The welcome on arrival was everything but not welcome. Internet was only available directly at the reception, not in the bungalows! The whole facility made a run-down impression. The beach is not nice, as you don’t have a view of the open sea. Dirt is everywhere (on the beach and in the immediate vicinity) Once Payam and never again! Save yourself the trouble. There are better, more beautiful islands in Thailand.

Smokers paradise. Avoid if a non smoker
The resort has an absolute beachfront which is relaxing and quiet. Cottages are in serious need of some painting and maintenance. Unfortunately the majority of guests were either smoking Cannabis or cigarettes with no consideration for anyone who was a non smoker. Certainly avoid this accommodation if you are seeking unpolluted air!

Terrible Attitude. Bad Service.
Ordered a soda water with ice. They add 10 baht on for the 3 ice cubes put in the glass. When queried this, the boss argued a d then said ok you dont pay this. With a bad tone and very bad attitude. Then the boss turns off the wifi as soon as the bill is paid.
Terrible service, terrible attitude, avoid this place, the boss needs to rethink how he treats guests or he wont have any.
The place is old and worn out. Badly maintained and much much better options on the island for accomodation and food and drinks
