Go elsewhere!!!

The positive: The place is beautiful and the rooms are fine. We did not test the restaurant because closed during our stay (notified on arrival only), fortunately 2 very good establishments are located 2 minutes walk (be careful it goes up hard to go there).
The negative: the hotel’s location on the island that requires taking a taxi or renting a scooter to access any place. Also, the room that is half made when the sign “do not disturb” had been put, very shady. Fortunately our valuables were with us that day.
Finally, the worst: the so-called Scooter Rental Service. Already, 250baht/days + keep passports. Then it is not said but it is a separate Service of the hotel which is run by the brother of the manager. This man is very rude, yells at you for no reason and pretends to be deaf to justify his attitude (he hears very well, he was reacting to a conversation we were having with the manager at a normal sound volume, more than 10m from him). He has no qualms about renting you scooters full of scratches, with an oil check light on. But asks you 2000baht when you return for a mini scratch that you are not the origin. Of course, while the lady is “nice” to you, she yells at you from her corner. All while they hold your passports hostage until you pay. In other words, how to ruin your stay.
Finally, I don't know how this hotel could get its stars with such bad behavior. The view may be very beautiful but you will find much better Service with an equally beautiful view elsewhere!

Orchid Phangan, not so fun!!

A Resort with No housekeeping, No staff, and guess what no phones in the room.
You cannot order anything in the room.
The amenities in the room are next to Nothing, A television 30 years old. Ac which cannot keep the room cool. I paid. 3000 Baht almost for a single room for one day and I did not like it at all.

Basic rooms

We stayed here to go to Phangan Full Moon Party. The place didn’t feel worth the price paid. It had the basic items we required. Owners helped us with whatever we needed. They also had a jeep and offered to drop us to the party. The place served the purpose of our visit.

depending where your room is located

make sure you get a room close to the pool or beach. Otherwise you are located next to the busy road. Room only ok, i have seen better ones which have equal prices. It is about a 10 min. drive to the Fullmoon Party.

Lovely owner

The rooms are spacious and clean, nicely decorated. Pool large and we had it to ourselves because of low season. Didn't try the restaurant as we ate out every night. Hire a bike if you're staying here because its 10/15 minutes in either direction to the busier towns.
Chatted to the owner and she was just lovely and interesting.
Took a while to check in (didn't know where the staff were) Bed was comfortable, nice shower and balcony area but very thin curtains.
