Check ALL reviews, not just Excellent ones for a true reflection of this "RESORT"! Gorgeous setting although TIRED &/or NEGLECTED facilities. Nice to learn post stay, it wasn't just us the wife had an issue with...downright ignorant & blatantly rude throughout our week there! Our solution, to avoid at all cost!
Stunning mountain backdrop & beautiful dusk/evening wildlife sounds, plus joining neighbours antics as Bamboo huts not soundproof but that's out of owners responsibility. Pearl (pebble) beach & grocery store 10 mins walk / White Beach 30 mins walk.
Pool unusable, nobody used it at all. No Restaurant or Bar in use, but tatty & inviting, so wouldn't have used, but great Restaurant at bottom of drive that saves the day. If driving up, take care to not bottom out your car on steep incline.
Scooter rental competitive, but one of ours had awful steering & swap not offered. Wife insistent we returned EXACTLY 24hrs later, not a minute more!
Adjoining fields have development work going on & our hut had rotten floor board that you have to remember not to tread on at all times of the day or night! Oh, did I mention, when we arrived, we were given keys to an already occupied room, so take heed to protect your valuables.
If these things won't bother you, great gem of a place.

Kindness is not at home
Booked through booking, cramped room, bad air conditioning, you go from cold to hot beast with no possibility to change the seventh.
The Pole who runs the facility was kind to us, but the wife to avoid.
Never seen smiling, listless and uncooperative.
He gives me the rental scooter and tells me he gives it to me full and I have to return it full.
I turn on the scooter, check and miss a notch of the tank, I point it out and he replies pity that it is full.
To which I invite you to check and once you see that the hand indicates that it is not full corrects the rental sheet, apologize right???

Small Clean bungalows in a tropical garden setting.Great breakfast. European restaurant five minute walk down the hill.
Owners are very helpful.

I can't understand the good reviews.
We booked 10 nights and then found on arrival that the pool was totally dirty and the water was green.
The terrace was freshly painted with paint and it smelled like paint everywhere. My girlfriend then developed a severe headache. The room was very small and there were almost no storage facilities and no closet. Everything was very worn out. Apparently we were the only guests as well. I then contacted the owner and told him I wanted to change the hotel for the reasons. Because of the totally hidden pool he thinks it's because it's been raining a lot lately. He refused that I could withdraw from the contract. I spent one night in this shabby room and changed hotels the next day.

The hotel is on an island. Ferries (public transportations) are available from 07:00 to 18:30 normally. Please confirm the ferry operating hours with the hotel in advance.
