Very clean and comfortable room, relaxing atmosphere, great facilities (amazing public bath) and wonderful staff and service. The shuttle bus service makes it very accessible.

Overpriced with very late check in (4pm)

Everything is above average, but the price is rather unreasonable for the room size. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are good. Be careful if you stay for more than 1 night and want to buy the room package with half board as the menu is likely to be the same everyday. We are a family of 4 and booked a family room with 2 double beds. However, the beds are so small so one of us needed to go in the floor on a futon. The lounge they mentioned is just a seating area in a closed swimming pool area where synthetic juices are set up. Nothing like hotel lounge access so don’t get excited over it. There was an earthquake during our stay. We received the alarm however there was no clear sign which floor to evacuate to as the lobby is on 7th floor and the pool is on ground floor (i guess its 7th). Nice private onsen inroom though. The checkin time is at 4pm later than any other hotels we have stayed. I’m wondering if the rooms are available but they just don’t let you in for some reason. Will be much much better if the room price is more reasonable.

Room was nice and big, the tub was definitely the reason why we booked.
Location is not the easiest to reach but the shuttle service is very convenient and efficient though the frequency could definitely be improved.
Facilities are ok, swimming pool was relatively small while breakfast was decent but not amazing.
Overall a nice stay but probably would stick to one night only and depending on the price as in general Beitou area is quite old.

a gem in the thermal valley

Beautiful spa hotel in the hills of Beitou. I enjoyed everything immensely. from arrival with upgrade in luxury room to breakfast. Immense room with a thermal bath for two people and three types of temperature. equipped with everything even fresh yukata. The breakfast was good. Location a bit isolated, walk in 20 minutes you get to the center of Beitou but the surroundings are beautiful. the hotel is close to a beautiful history museum. There is a shuttle Service from the station at fixed times which makes access to the property even more convenient

The room was clean and the sauna was spacious. Water fills fast. We didn’t quite have any view from our room. Where the bed is, there were no windows at all. However, it was quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was decent. Service was good. And the free shuttle was great as the hotel is not convenient to walk to from Xinbeitou station.
