Fantastic service and strategically located near Taipei 101 & Taipei Dome. New and spacious. Lots of eateries around that area.

Horrible experience with dirty shower and response from Hann House

I stayed in Room 1925 at the Hanns House from 8/15 to 8/17. The hotel is well located in Taipei but the housekeeping was definitely below standard. The following is my complaint email to Hanns House, with attached photos, on 8/27. I have not received any reply for 6 days. The attitude of not taking responsibility and ignoring complaint leaves horrible impression.
"I was very disappointed and even disgusted with my experience in your hotel. I saw long curly hair on the shower wall around 6 in the morning of 8/16, see attached photos. I have short hair, no longer than 3" and definitely not mine. I went to the front desk and showed the gentleman the photos I took. He went to my room to take a look. He stepped on the bath mat with his shoes without looking and grabbed the towel hung on the shower door without gloves. Both are not compliant with any good hotel SOP. I was told that the cleaning crew would take care of it at 9 am when they came to work. I went out for breakfast and returned to wait for the cleaning crew, No one showed up at 9 am. I went downstairs and was told to wait till 10 am. 10 am came and no one showed up. I went down to the front desk and was told that the cleaning crew would come over at 11 am. I did not wait that long and went out. Of course the shower was cleaned when I returned in the late afternoon. Except plenty of apologies, your hotel did not offer any to help relieve the trauma. Do you know how disgusting it is to see hair from the prior guest? Do you understand the cleaning process was way below standard and god knows what else was left behind that were potential hygiene concerns? What would your hotel staff, manager, executives feel when they find out the room they stay in is in such condition. How would Ms. Ma (Mrs. Jiao) feel when she check into a room like this?
When I checked out, I complained to the front desk again. I could not believe that I was told that cleaning was outsourced to another company and Hanns House had problems with them for some time. I corrected the front desk manager that it was Hanns House's responsibility to maintain a clean environment and standard as it claimed as "a space of comfort and enjoyment".
I expect to hear from the hotel management promptly."
No reply so far. I am very very disappointed.

Hotel is located near taipei 101 walking distance 10-15 min. Huge apartment style room. Have washer dryer on separate floor and great gym facilities. Staff are helpful and it is very new hotel.

Excellent service. Water pressure good in the shower. Bed comfortable. Everywhere was clean. Good location close to MRT with lots of restaurants nearby.

Used to have free coffee machine in the morning when we stayed last year. Not anymore during this year’s stay.. 😩 sad
