I love this hotel and have stayed many times. However, something has happened in the past year. The facility looks like it has had water damage and smells of smoke throughout. My clothes and luggage all smelled like smoke upon departure. The bathroom cabinets stay wide open, and the room door drags on the floor and required a ton of force to open every time.
However, service is AMAZING. The staff are so warm and welcoming and do their best to meet every need. The food service is slow (typical of the region), but they try very hard to make it a great experience. We hosted a large meal and were VERY pleased with the food and presentation.
The rest of the property just looks like it is aging very quickly and needs to TLC!

It's surrounded by nature and the grounds are vast.
I felt very relaxed.

Lovely facility, staff, and location. Too bad there ere very few local options on the restaurant menu.

Just about acceptable

I arrived late and checked out early so did not have much chance to see all amenities.
Room was large and spacious but really needs and update as everything looks old and worn.
Notice on the door warns of keeping doors locked. Patio doors although locked would have opened with minimal force so did not inspire confidence.
Breakfast was mediocre and chicken looked like it had been there for a long time so I avoided it.
Dinner was nice but service was a little slow.
Not bad but may consider other hotels if I am in the area again.
