Great experience at mantis lodge mikumi

Great experience at mantis lodge (Mikumi) - we booked them on last minute but the hotel is nice , clean and all rooms have Ac , you shouldn’t get worried of hot weather within the place .
With its close to Mikumi national park , the staff is very friendly and the owner is a great person.
Campfire was set up and we enjoyed the jazz ,granting us an experience into its history , mission of the hotel .
It was a great moment at mantis lodge mikumi ( I recommend any person to check on them even if your on camping safari)

A lovely quiet place to stay, with very attentive and helpful staff

The Mantis Lodge was recommended to us by a party of German University Students we met in Morogoro. It exceeded our expectations by far. The owner of the lodge was a lovely man and very helpful, as were his courteous staff.
The lodge is well placed for visiting the National Park and the owner will arrange good inexpensive Safaris. 
There are several ensuite lodges spaced around a central green square. Each lodge is well equipped with a bedroom and private bathroom, with a hot shower, wash basin, with hot water, and a toilet. Our bedroom had a double and single bed, both with mosquito nets, which we didn't need. The room was air-conditioned. All the facilities in the room were clean and tidy. There are problems with the electrical power in Tanzania, as it cuts out from time to time, but the complex has its own generator, which kicks in to power essential services like lights etc. The breakfast is excellent, well presented and served by very courteous and helpful waiting staff. The lunch and evening meals are excellent too and the menu is extensive. Each evening, in the centre of the green, there's a log fire to sit round to chat and take it easy in the cooler night air. 
My wife and I are thankful to the Germans for  recommending The Mantis Lodge and we thank Nazareth and his staff for making us so welcome and looking after us so well.

Holiday mikumi

Small simple charming place, but so picturesque people, they are charming as well as the owners very well received. They do everything to please us. the meals are delicious, and especially the quiet this place, Wonderful

NATURAL ENVIRONMENT

Mantis is very natural, they do have air condition, but I assure you that you wont need it especial at night, animals come very close to lodge, it's real an amazing experience, they have bone fire at night, staff are friendly especial Papaa! I loved most things here and lodge is just 20 if not 30 minutes drive away from Mikumi national park. I recommend it

A pleasent experience

We visited Mikimi national park and stayed in Mantis lodge only for one night, but enough to have a wonderful expirience!
It is situated in the forrest so it is guaranteed that youll have a quiet and peaceful time. The owner and the staff were friendly and helpfull all throughout our stay. Rooms witj bathrooms are nice, tidy and well equipped (TV, AC, fan...)
Dinner in their restaurant was AMAZING!
If you plan to visit Mikumi, consider staying at Mantis, you will not regret it!
