Perfect!
We had an amazing stay, thanks to Emmanuel and the entire staff! Everyone was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The villa is beautiful, well-equipped, and really has everything you could need- from an iron to even a smoothie maker, which was perfect for all the fresh tropical fruits you can buy at the supermarket just around the corner. One of the highlights is definitely the private pool, where you can relax and enjoy complete privacy. We felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend staying here :)

Beautiful villas in dream destination
Clean, convenient location, beautifully decorated. I would give Paje Emeralds a 100 out of 10.
Visited with my husband and son, we really enjoyed the private pool. Hosts David and Patricia were really accommodating.

An unforgettable stay
We had an amazing stay at Paje Emerald Escapes and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Zanzibar. The villa was beautiful, spotless, and had everything we needed. The private pool was perfect for relaxing after spending the day at the beach.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and always happy to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. You can really tell they care about making sure guests have a great experience.
It is a short walk to the Beach, with plenty of great restaurants and activities nearby. It was the perfect mix of luxury, comfort, and chilled island vibes.
I would definitely recommend this place! It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to, and it made our holiday even more special. Special shout to Patsy and David who went above and beyond personalising our stay! We will be back

Avoid.
Avoid at all costs. This property is fundamentally mismanaged, and the owner shows open contempt for guest safety and experience.
During our stay we experienced constant electricity failures. On one night alone, I had to get out of bed eight separate times to manually reset the breaker just to restore basic power. This wasn’t an inconvenience — it was a clear health and safety risk, particularly at night, and completely unacceptable in a paid villa stay.
In total, over 50% of our stay was effectively ruined by power outages. This was raised directly with the owner, who stated that reliable electricity was not his responsibility, despite owning, operating, and profiting from the property. The scale of disruption and the safety implications were treated as irrelevant.
A partial refund was later offered, but it arrived significantly short due to how it was processed, and any attempt to resolve this fairly was met with dismissiveness and defensiveness. Rather than acknowledging the failure, responsibility was repeatedly deflected and the matter abruptly shut down.
If you value basic utilities, personal safety, or a host who takes responsibility when things go wrong, do not stay here. When serious issues arise, you are on your own — and the owner will make that very clear.

Un séjour absolument incroyable dans cette villa ! Tout était parfait, de la propreté irréprochable au confort et au cadre magnifique. La villa est neuve, spacieuse, luxueuse, très bien décorée et idéalement située, à environ 4-5 à pied minutes d’une magnifique plage aux eaux turquoise, avec restaurants et commerces à proximité.
Un immense merci également au personnel de ménage, adorable et très professionnel, ainsi qu’à Emanuel, qui s’est occupé de toutes nos demandes pendant le séjour. Il a été absolument incroyable, toujours disponible et vraiment aux petits soins. Je n’ai jamais vu un service pareil ! Je n’oublierais jamais mes vacances de ma vie
Tout est simple : location de voiture, déplacements, demandes particulières… tout le monde est compréhensif et s’adapte. Je recommande cette villa à 100 % pour un séjour inoubliable ! ❤️
