Soul Resort

Happiness provided our group (12 people) with a wonderful weekend:
The food (menu) was very good, the pizzas surprisingly delicious, the breakfast, the rooms clean, the sanitary facilities worked. A wonderful place to unwind.

Fantastic !

We were recommended by friends who recently went and we are so glad they did. An amazing place! Such beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming, Fantastic value for money!

Heaven - Simply The Best.......

Absolutely amazing in every respect. The location a few steps from a beautiful unspoilt beach cannot be bettered. The banda accommodation is first class. The welcome from Ashok, Nalini , Happiness and all of the staff wonderful. Thank you all so much. We stayed for 6 nights and wish it could have been longer. Such an amazing relaxed atmosphere. Highlight has to be the amazing food. Everything, and I do mean everything is fresh . Wish we could have stayed longer to work our way through the whole menu !!
If you are visiting the Tanga area do not miss out on Capricorn.

Off the Grid Bliss by the Beach

If you are looking for a tranquil and serene sanctuary with peaceful solitude and surrounded by African hospitality, this is a place for you. Off the beaten path and loaded with beauty, generous and kind staff, and food that will make your mouth water. I was able to spend 4 nights in what felt like a personal private retreat complete with ocean front views and a personal chef. Once you arrive at Capricorn, there is no need to leave the property as you are pampered and given space to create the vacation you want. After breakfast, you can soak in the calm warm waters of a reef protected Indian ocean. The views of village fisherman in the distance in their hand carved sailing canoes meet you as you soak up the African sun. Walks along untouched and sun drench beaches are spectacular as you search and find beautiful sea shells and conches amongst mangrove trees. fresh fruit juices are plentiful along with fresh cocktails when you return to Capricorn. You can sit under the majestic Baobab trees as you read a book or enjoy an outdoor massage while you listen to the lapping ocean waves feet away from your massage cabana. Delicious dinners mark the end to a spectacularly relaxing day at the on site restaurant with a spectacular menu featuring both plentiful vegetarian meals as well as meat dishes. I had the unexpected surprise of enjoying a vegetarian poke bowl that was not on the menu after I had asked the owner if there were a place I could find one. Though it was not on the menu - they obliged with a spectacular creation that leaves me dreaming and wishing for more. I cant say enough about my experience at this property. It will not disappoint! And the warm hospitality of the owners and staff is nothing but personal and genuine. You will not find another place like this and I cant wait to visit again.

Beautiful cottage - perfect retreat

We had a very lovely stay at Capricorn. Everything you could need all in one place! Delicious food, lovely staff, beautiful and very clean cottage. The restaurant was such a treat!
We felt so looked after and enjoyed every minute of our short stay. Thank you Ashok and team!
