. Service is simply impeccable: the team is always attentive, with a smile and constant attention to every detail. Service is personalized, warm, and authentic.
Meals are excellent, prepared with passion by chef Hela — try her delicious egg brigs and other local specialties! The prices are very correct for the quality offered.
Breakfast facing the sea is a real happiness, a peaceful and rejuvenating moment. The hotel, full of charm and ideally located right in front of the sea, offers a quiet, clean and perfectly maintained setting, away from mass tourism. Many small corners invite relaxation.
The owners are always present and available to make the stay even more enjoyable. Currency exchange can even be done locally, at a much more attractive rate than at the airport.
Rooms with pool or sea views are spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean every day. I had the large room 202: a real favorite, with a magnificent view of the sea from the terrace.
The beach right in front is sublime. Their private beach “at Karim” is perfect: deckchairs, umbrellas, warm Welcoming, restaurant... everything is planned for a serene holiday. The entire Flamingo team is adorable, attentive and always ready to help, advise or organize according to your desires. Little touches make all the difference!
The patio, with its pretty central fountain, is a peaceful place where you can eat in privacy. The pool is beautiful, clean and invites to relax.
I will return with great pleasure to this establishment where I felt particularly welcome, appeased and pampered.

A fabulous gem of a hotel
We had not booked accommodation before arriving on Djerba, and we're lucky enough to discover the Flamingo hotel. Hela and Nabil have owned the hotel for 25+ years .. it was like staying with mum and dad :-)
We discovered that traveling during Ramadan was a little bit more complicated (food + transportation) but the hospitality shown to us was fabulous.
There were two large hotels nearby, for the all-inclusive set .. The Raddison + Al Jazira Beach + Spa) which were fine .. but not for us.
We speak no Arabic, so our conversations were a mix of French + English while Hela was trying to teach us some words.
We only stayed a few days because our trip was over but we soon felt like we were part of the family.

super hotel
A superb hotel with feet in the water, with private beach and swimming pool. A very warm Welcoming and the staff with little care and listening. The hearty breakfast is on the beach with wonderful views every morning, for dinner the varied dishes and thank you to karim and his team

I am happy to report that we have been to the Hotel Flamingo Beach on Djerba for the third time and it was a wonderful experience again! The warm owner Hela greeted us with a firm hug and a cup of coffee – the perfect welcome that immediately gave the feeling of “welcome home”.
It is fascinating how familiar and welcoming the atmosphere is here. Hela and her team attach great importance to ensuring that every guest feels appreciated and comfortable. You can tell that they are passionate about the cause and really interested in the well-being of their guests.
A stay at Flamingo Beach is not only a holiday, but also a reunion with friends. We are already looking forward to our next visit, because here hospitality is lived in its best form. Many thanks to Hela and the entire team for the wonderful experiences!

Holidays in Djerba August 2024
The hotel had a good all-inclusive self-service service, however, the bar staff are well below standards in terms of being helpful. It seems they are waiting to be satisfied to later serve you. The beach is very good, clear sands and hot water. The conditions outside the hotel seem to be very low, so my crazy option is always to stay in the hotel and make only a group tour of the island, which confirms the lack of facilities.
