Peaceful lovely place

Very pleased with our stay in “La maison de sable” (the sand house). 3 nights for a family with 2 kids (14 and 8 year old).
Our host Mhamed and his wife were very welcoming and kind to us throughout our stay. Mhamed is a tourism professional and is very knowledgeable of the area and the south of Tunisia. He recommended a few amazing attractions, to which we drove to and all were very worth it. If you don’t fancy driving, you are right at the start of the desert and you can just take a short walk to the sand dunes or to a nearby palm trees forest.
The rooms are authentic and as described, the area is very safe and you get to have great memories here. We highly recommend la maison de sable and hope to be back again soon.

Brilliant stay at desert’s getaway

Simply brilliant! An unique opportunity to experience a Berber accommodation in Mohamed’s place. The silence, the calm in the dessert’s edge. Mohamed is a perfect host. He arrange a dromedary 2 hours trip for us and it was punctual and waiting right at our rooms door. Couldn’t have asked for anything better and the only regret is not having spend more nights at Grand Sud

Posto accettabile ma decisamente troppo caro

Il posto esternamente e bello e avrebbe potenziale. Il comfort all interno e ridotto con il bagno separato dal resto dalla stanza solo da una tenda. Il punto dolente e il prezzo che con 75€ a notte e decisamente fuori dagli standard locali. Ci abbiamo soggiornato solo per un equivoco per aver capito che il prezzo di 75€ si riferisse a due camere invece che a una

L'authenticité et la gentillesse réunies

Mahmed a une vraie présence. Il nous a spontanément proposé d'organiser un repasde Noël (délicieux!). Notre maman âgée devait rester 24h seule pendant notre expédition dans le désert. Elle s'est trouveé tellement bien chez mahmed et son épouse qu'elle a préféré annuler sa réservation d'hotel et rester dans la maison de sable. Endroit magnifique hors du temps , magnifique porte d'entrée vers le désert ! Mahmed sait vous faire paratzger sa passion pour le désert et les saveurs de a région. Tout semble facile, naturel et beau !

Très agréable chambre d’hôtes

Nous avons été accueillis par Mohamed.
Il nous a directement amené à notre chambre pour y déposer nos affaires.
Nous l’avons rejoins pour prendre un thé dans le jardin.
La chambre que nous avons eu est grande. La décoration est soignée. La chambre et la salle de bain sont très propre.
Le petit déjeuner est copieux et bon.
Mohamed a été d’excellents conseils pour notre séjour en Tunisie.
Une très belle expérience.
