Relaxing and great stay!

Having stayed at a TUI blue before we felt we had an idea of what to expect.
The location was ideal, a modern, spotlessly clean, hotel with everything you could need. We stayed on the complex for the duration of our stay.
The atmosphere at the hotel was calm and relaxing. Even with few younger guests, pool and dining areas were calm and enjoyable. Pool is a decent size. My only comment would be sometimes people would take up a large amount of space playing throwing ball games in the pool without consideration of others, when it’s different groups it becomes a little tricky to dodge the balls to swim!
Rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Personally I don’t love the design of the open shower. The shower is however powerful and hot. Rooms have everything you need.
Entertainment was varied, easy to find out what was going on in the app. Strongly disagree with the review about the app needing an overhaul - everything you need is there and easy to navigate and book! We loved the archery. The entertainment team work flat out to ensure guests have the best time. Night time entertainment was ok. Prefer in house such as the silent disco and music quiz / bingo.
Staff - this is what really stood out. From house keepers, to gardeners, security, lifeguards, servers in restaurants, bar staff, reception staff, chefs - everyone was so welcoming, friendly and polite. It was so refreshing. It really made our stay. In the lobby there are individual boxes for the areas of the team - please tip them. They all work incredibly hard!
Thea’s coffee shop and the bar area were such nice places to relax. Highly recommend the banana mama!
Buffet had a huge selection. Freshly cooked meats, vegetarian dishes, salads , pasta and pizza, desserts. Something for everyone. Great variety.
We enjoyed using the infinity pool in the morning before it opened to the general public.
The beach is small but lovely, the sea is crystal clear and so warm. We rented kayaks from the stand just to the left.
Overall as a family with teenagers we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The value for money was excellent and would thoroughly recommend for anyone thinking about staying!

Fantastic holiday in the Tui blue hammamet palm

We had a really good time in this hotel, the room was spacious with a great sea view, the food was probably the best we have had in an all inclusive hotel ( we have been to many ), the drinks were OK, but the thing that really stands out with this hotel are the staff, they were all amazing and especially the entertainment team shout out to Goffy Nemo and Rico, they were very good at what they do. We would definitely consider returning to this hotel.

A bit disappointed

This is 2nd time I have been to Tunisia and totally different experiences.Stayed in Port el Kantaoui,with a friend in June. Staff very friendly and helpful.We where told to use facilities as soon as we got there as it was early and rooms not ready, which was not a problemThis time I came with my niece,got to this hotel at 11.30,did not expect rooms to be ready,filled in forms and told to sit by reception till rooms where ready,which would mean we would miss most of the day, so decided we wanted to go for a swim.Asked if there was somewhere to change, my niece was told luggage room, refused so they found us an empty room. Asked where we could get towels from, guy just pointed straight in front, not very welcoming at all.Lots of things done on an app,I am in my mid 70's and can just about work things out on my phone but don't want to constantly have to go on apps to find out information about what's going on.Did not have any interaction with any Tui rep at all to see if everything was ok or we had any problems. A bit of communication would have been nice, even just to tell us where facilities where, and what time restaurant was open. Having said all that when we did find our way around the service staff were kind and helpful, and hotel itself was very clean and well maintained

Disappointing arrival and feeling of unequal treatment

For a hotel belonging to the TUI group, we expected a considerably higher standard of hospitality, transparency and professionalism.

We would like to clarify that you were informed that the standard check-in time is 3:00 PM and our reception team followed the normal hotel procedure accordingly. No member of our team denied you information or intended to treat you differently from any other guest.
We fully understand that waiting for a room after travelling can be frustrating. However, we also believe that communication and respect must work both ways. Unfortunately, the attitude displayed towards our reception team during your arrival, including shouting and speaking to our colleagues in a rude and disrespectful manner made the situation particularly difficult.
Our team remains committed to providing professional polite and respectful service to every guest. We are always happy to listen to concerns and find solutions but we also expect our colleagues to be treated with the same courtesy and respect that we extend to our guests.
