A palace of a dar in the heart of sousse medina

Dar ANTONIA, a palace of a dar, served by the most wonderful attentive staff, who take care of your every request and need. A stunning relaxing sunbathing terrace, with panoramic views of SOUSSE,food quality and presentation exerlant, and very tasty, best breckfast and dinners we had in sousse, many different rooms to suite everyone's preference, may I recommend the original building with the fountain!!!, I have stayed in dars all over the world, and this is one of the best, for ambience, food quality, and wonderful helpful staff!!!, the Djebali family, holiday may 2026. Special thanks to Nebiha, Rahma, Alia, Omar,Hanan, who made our stay wonderful.

An exceptional place of cleanliness, a welcome from AMRA that gives a true sense of well-being. Wonderful breakfast and the calm of relaxation on the roof of the building.

A fantastic dar

This place is magic. A fantastic roof terrace over sighting the medina. Nice small rooms. Cozy. We had a special dinner. Food is super. We strongly recommend this Dar

I didn't have a good experience. In order to get from Tunis to Sousse, you either pay a ridiculous amount to a private driver or you take the Louage. The Louage is a rideshare van filled with at least 8 people with no air conditioning. It was the longest 2.5 hours of my life in that oven of a van. Once I got out, I contemplated going to the emergency room due to dehydration but decided to just go to the hotel. It's impossible to find a taxi so I walked for 30 minutes, completely dehydrated and about to die with my suitcase.
A guy opened the door for me (Omar, the brother of the owner) but he doesn't speak English. I asked him in French for a glass of water and he told me to wait. I tried to explain that I needed it now otherwise I was going to pass out - by this time I felt faint. He couldn't understand me and just kept telling me to wait. I knew the owner, Sami, was upstairs because he called down to me when I got there to say hello. So, I yelled up to him 'Can I please get some water?' Sami took it as an insult and rudeness and came downstairs to yell at me. I'm talking finger in my face screaming! He screamed that if I don't respect his staff, then I can stay somewhere else. I told him not to speak to me that way and I will stay somewhere else if he refunds my money. He refused to give me my money so they showed me to my room where he continued to yell at me. We eventually both apologized but I can't get over how he treated me.
