lovely art hotel

Lovely little hotel in the Sousse medina. The owner is an artist -- and it shows! The property is absolutely charming and has a great art hotel vibe. We really enjoyed the colorful room and the courtyard (which comes with her pet cats!) is unbeatable. Great breakfast, too! A clean, simple little place that provides a great stay!

Amazingly nice small boutique hotel

An exceptional small boutique hotel in the heart of the ancient city centre of Sousse.
Authenticity and artworks meet modern equipments and contemporary comfort.
The Staff and owner madam zeineb are super friendly and can't di enough for you.
Breakfast is great, free wifi, and everybody is helpful and ambitious.
Best position, so dar lekbira is the perfect place as a Basecamp to explore Sousse and also other regions of Tunisia.
I highly recommend this charming exceptional piece of hotel jewelery.

Local experience

We stayed three nights here. Staff were welcoming and very helpful with day trips and general information about getting around town.
Room was clean and servicing of-the room was good.
Breakfasts varied a little each morning. A very good mix of offerings.
We are a little offended by stairs and there were 50 stairs from the ground floor to our room. (A couple aged 69 and75).
The room was also relatively quiet and the call to prayer was a minor annoyance.
Altogether a very nice couple of days. Thank you.

Beautiful hotel

Top place with its patio. The rooms are clean and spacious with beautiful decorations. The staff is very helpful. The hotel is located in the Medina so access by car is complicated and requires some walking but the comfort of the hotel more than compensates for this little walking session.

If you want to enjoy Sousse and its wonderful medina Dar Lekibira is the right place... you will feel like living in a fairy tale, you will be amazed, every corner will leave you stunned, the rooms are large and clean, the breakfast room will leave you speechless!!!! super recommended!!!
