Quality comfort at a good price.

Welcoming hotel with attentive staff. Very good quality and comfort of the rooms and bedding. The cleanliness and respect for your requests are top-notch! Being there for a 3-day post-op stay, I had requested that no one enter the room... However, be careful if your neighbor does not show respect; you might hear them arguing on the phone through the walls.
The breakfast buffet is basic, depending on everyone's tastes. Close to shops and good restaurants. Rated 8/10.

Very pleasant stay in Hotel Marigold

We had a very pleasant stay in the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. A special compliment for Ezedine. Good breakfast and nice and clean rooms.

Very satisfied

Location is about 2 km from.medina. Very good breakfast and the staff very polite. The suite was clean and very comfortable. Beds were a bit harsh and pillows very very thick for my taste. Other than that we were very satisfied with our stay

Unpleasant smell in bathroom, telephone not working, reception staff unfriendly. Breakfast very limited. Was not a comfortable stay.

Decent price/value ratio

Let's start with a disclaimer - you very quickly learn what a 4-star hotel really means when seeing Marigold.
And with that, I mean, it is not what one would expect when hearing "4-star" hotel in Europe.
Yes, there is a 24-hour reception, and yes, it was clean, rooms were spacious, but there were some glaring 'issues'.
First and foremost, I managed to get food poisoning in Tunisia, so yes, I'm not ashamed to write that I needed extra toilet paper, which the hotel couldn't provide. I even asked at the reception for the cleaning staff to just provide 2 rolls, to which I got one. At one point, they didn't even replace the toilet paper, which was finished..
Of course, each room has a bidet, but I'm not (wasn't?) used to using it.
The other rather annoying thing was asking for extra water bottles. And it was annoying, because the answer was - sorry, can't provide it.
After a long day of work, getting home at midnight, I asked for it (having forgotten to buy), and the answer was that the bar is only open until 10 pm and there is no water bottle after.
Great.
In a country where tap water is not potable and no shops are open in the neighborhood at that time, I was not exactly happy to sleep dehydrated.
Other than that, breakfast is good/decent and the staff are friendly, so overall it wasn't a bad experience, but also nothing I would write home about.
3/5, but just because the price was reasonable.
