Beautiful holiday in Granada luxury red
Relaxed at the Granada Luxury Red Hotel in Avsallar from 08.07 to 20.07 - and remained absolutely delighted!
From the very first minute, it feels like guests are really cared for here: the welcome-zone was endlessly pleased: refreshments, cookies, lucum, chocolate - for only those who arrived and are tired of the road - is such a cherry on the cake. Unfortunately, the check-in was not immediate, we arrived around 09.00, we were immediately booked, and we went quietly for breakfast, but until 14 we had to be in the lobby and wait for the room. Maybe for an extra fee the process would go faster, but it is what it is. While they were expecting, caught lunch - amazing. The choice of dishes is pleasing. Plus with 10 functioning cafe-pastry shop, it is impossible to stay hungry in general. The room pleased. Spacious, clean, with modern renovations and everything you need - from comfortable bathrobes to a good hairdryer and kettle. It was particularly gratifying that the room was quiet: even if there was a noise nearby, you couldn't hear it.
The property is small, but everything is cozy and very clean. The staff are so quick to clean, wash, clean - you wonder when and at what point they can do it. The pool is clean, the water is comfortable, and there are lots of sun loungers and umbrellas around, so there's room for everyone.
Food is beyond praise. The variety of dishes is pleasantly surprising: every day something new, lots of fresh vegetables and fruit, great desserts, and meat and fish are always juicy and well prepared. A separate plus - there are also options for those who follow the diet: light salads, steamed dishes. For those who care about drinks 18+ is a separate story, quality import.
The beach is within walking distance, and that's a huge plus. Clean sand, on two sides of the line with buoys convenient entrance to the sea, sunbeds and umbrellas - all organized on the level.
I want to highlight the work of the staff: polite, sympathetic, always ready to help and solve any issue. Unreal waiters and bartenders. The bartenders' work is at 10+, we're from Peter ourselves and it's hard to surprise us with quality cocktails, but these guys did.
By the way, you don't have to go to the bar yourself, the waiters always come to the lobby, the pool and offer drinks.
At the main restaurant, all meals are the gold standard, only you sit down and the staff comes right up and clarifies on the drinks. Cleared from tables also promptly. Irina is a very attentive guest services specialist. Every day makes a round of guests, clarifies whether there are complaints, reproaches, wishes. Everything solves at once, doesn't postpone anything.
The animation also pleased: during the day - active games and sports, in the evening - entertainment programs.
The availability of a full-fledged gym is encouraging. I also recommend a spa area with massage.
Overall, Granada Luxury Red is the perfect combination of comfort, excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely come back here again and gladly recommend this hotel to friends!

Peaceful, Calm, Good Value
We stayed for seven nights from 3 July as a couple.
Overall, the hotel was exactly as advertised, with all the expected amenities and a good standard of all-inclusive service.
The rooms and hotel were very clean and well maintained throughout our stay, and the décor was modern and attractive. One slightly odd detail was that a lot of the wallpaper and murals appeared to be AI-generated, which felt a little jarring. The in-room jacuzzi was a lovely feature, although we only used it once as it took a very long time to fill. Unfortunately, our room overlooked the neighbouring hotel rather than offering much of a view.
We were pleasantly surprised by the food, especially given some of the reviews we'd read beforehand. There was a good variety throughout the week, and we were still trying new dishes on our seventh day. The desserts were the only real disappointment—many looked beautiful but tasted quite bland, with very similar flavours across the selection.
The grilled meats and freshly made Turkish flatbreads were definite highlights, and each dinner featured a showcase dish, which was a nice touch. Due to our arrival and departure times, we unfortunately missed Friday's Turkish Night. We were leaving just as the decorations were going up, which was a shame. As this was the only themed evening during the week, it might be worth considering a second themed night midweek so more guests have the opportunity to experience it.
The pool was pleasant but fairly standard. The beach, however, was lovely, with beautiful clear water. Do be aware of the rocks when entering the sea—they are very sharp—but if you take care, it's absolutely manageable. One downside was that you need to claim a sunbed early, as they were usually all taken by around 10am. Since each hotel has its own allocated beach area, there wasn't anywhere else to set up so we ended up on the pool bar loungers looking at the hotel more than once.
The cocktail menu was far more extensive than at other all-inclusive hotels we've visited, although the quality varied considerably depending on who was behind the bar. The gentleman with the ponytail working in the lobby bar most evenings made consistently excellent cocktails and was easily the standout bartender. Others produced very different versions of the same drinks, which became quite an entertaining guessing game. One bartender at the pool bar seemed more interested in showing off than serving guests, even refusing to make drinks that were ordered and instead creating his own concoctions for everyone.
The entertainment was probably the biggest letdown for us. There was a show every evening at 9:30pm, usually featuring live singers or bands, but we found this quite late, and the performances themselves were fairly average. During the day, the only organised activities we noticed were water aerobics and a small darts session. The entertainment team also seemed to avoid us - which we wondered might be because we are Brits, and most guests were Russians/Serbs etc. It didn't help that the neighbouring Granada Luxury Beach hotel appeared much livelier, with facilities such as a volleyball court, a pier, and generally more happening both during the day and in the evenings.
That said, we came primarily for a relaxing, peaceful holiday, and that's exactly what we got. We had a lovely week overall and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. While we probably wouldn't return to this particular hotel, we certainly don't regret choosing it.

It was a wonderful vacation.
It is a small and very comfortable hotel. All the staff are professional and polite. There isn't a huge variety of food, but it isn't necessary—the food is delicious. I had expected issues based on comments about the sea, but the water is actually clean. We definitely received service that exceeded the price we paid. It will be our first choice for future vacations.
