Had a wonderful time

I would say this was the best vacation abroad that I had yet. We went at the end of may and the weather was perfect.
Loved the vibe of the hotel, the rooms were clean, they changed towels and bed sheets regularly, pool was also cleaned daily. The room amenities weren't the newest, but everything worked.
Food was sometimes okay sometimes great, I sure was not hungry and did not have to visit one of the overpriced restaurant’s in the area.
One thing to keep in mind is they are very used to Russian clients (80% of the people there) and I think it influences what they expect and how the staff acts, but they were overall great, loved the bartenders, the kid on debaras who was bringing a poster to not feed the cats when the clients gave them half of the plate was funny. Ahmed who does massages was also very friendly and Vidadi I think lifts the mood of everyone.
Location would be perfect if there weren’t so many street salesmen on the way to the beach, the walk is short but I swear you meet like 20 on each side of the road and I was very uncomfortable because they yell and if you don’t ignore them they basically don’t let you leave.
Would not recommend borrowing a car, people who get a scooter are in my opinion suicidal. Locals really drive like pigs it’s pure chaos and each time crossing the road I feared for my life. Coming from Czechia I was not prepared for that.
Beach had great access to sea, no rocks only further to the sea, just the entrance is steep. The beach could be cleaner and sometimes the sea was not that clean but only few days. One thing I did mind was the beach staff, no hello no help with the beach umbrella nothing, also the tables got only the people that came from outside and paid directly to them. After 9 days the questionable lifeguard said hello for the first time and wanted to chat only because I was there without my male friend I suspect…not nice. The beach chairs need replacing many of them are cracked in the middle.
Evening programs were fun, I really liked it but I think the last three days we were there a new manager of fun” started a Russian guy with a bowl cut who was like a dictator, also maybe on drugs but that is just speculation. He wanted my grandma who is 80 to lift her hands and clap for the whole show I think, also wanted me to sing karaoke even though I told him no 3 times( I really can’t sing ) and when there was live music he wanted us to stop playing cards and focus on that even though I clapped at every song. I think he just really did not respect us as people at all and treated us differently than the Russians. But I still had a great time and attending the evening show is not necessary but they happen by the pool where the bar is so just know that.
To end this I would absolutely visit again and I hope I can.

I recommend the hotel. The holidays were amazing. Near the beach, close to the disco, close to bars and restaurants. It feels like home in the hotel. ❤️

There’s no Brits - good or bad? You choose!

Firstly, I’m a British dad, went with my 16yo son who just finished his GCSEs.
For three days I never heard another Brit.
But the hotel was lovely. The staff were superb, the place was immaculately kept, and the DJ/host was a bit of a character.
This place is mostly used by Russians but you will dine next to Finns, Danes, Poles, even Georgians.
We arrived at 05.15, so I didn’t appreciate the 7.30 phone call from reception to meet us later for ‘information’ which was frankly just a sales pitch for excursions.
What you will enjoy is fine food. There are no chicken nuggets or baked beans. But there are a dozen different salads, slaws, dips and mezes alongside the main courses.
Entertainment can be a bit cringey and you won’t understand what’s going on! Would I go again? No. As I was with my son, I missed adult conversation. I was lucky the World Cup was on and I could watch it with other nationalities.
But I didn’t miss Brits taking over the place.
The bar manager was a genuine delight, Vidadi was very friendly and a special shout out to Faysal who sorted my son and me for food to take on our transfer back to the airport.
We didn’t explore the area, which is a regret but the beach was 100m from the hotel. The hotel provide their own sunbeds there at no extra costs. They don’t have a beach bar but there’s a decent one just a few yards away that does nice lunches.

There's a nice homely atmosphere in this department, absolutely all the staff are very attentive, friendly, all cute. I want to celebrate a very nice waiter Mehmet
