We have been to the Sunset beach club on 4 occassions over the past 4 years and always booked through Aqua lettings. The service is 1st class and the booking process is easy with no hasseles.
We have been as a couple and a with family and the sevice from Aqua has always been amazing. The resort itself is perfect! 25 steps to the beach, fantastic pool and an onsite restraunt for convienience. We have booked again for September with our son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. And of course through our friends at Aqua lettings..

Never again.

We booked the apartment Dolphin 5 through Aqua Lettings.
The location of the apartment is good – right by the sea, with pool and restaurant in the immediate vicinity.
Wi-Fi worked well, and the furniture in the living room was fine.
The kitchen equipment was old, partially defective and heavily soiled. Stove and baking trays, water dispensers were covered with a thick layer of dirt.
The bathroom was in an unsanitary state, with mold in several areas.
Bed sheets had blood stains, the washing machine was heavily rusted.
The insect screen was barely visible – I fell onto the terrace and injured myself. Instead of taking responsibility, Aqua Lettings tried to charge me with the repair costs.
Airbnb has investigated the case and allowed compensation.
I would strongly advise against a stay here. Especially for families with children or elderly people, I do not think the stay is safe.

The lies are not over, you can't reach the authority, Reservation cancellation hasn't returned forty days yet there are no solutions to that when I wrote a review they're joking with people who said that it won't be returned without deleting the review

How we visited the Fethiye police

We rested in the apartments (namely the seahorse13 apartments) from September 5 to October 5, 2023. We chose a place to relax with a baby (15 years old), according to reviews, we liked these apartments, as there is a private closed area, with its own separate entrance to the apartment, a gentle approach to the sea, and a children's playground. First, the pros: the territory of the complex itself fully met expectations - very green, beautiful flowers, two streets along which children can walk and run. The territory is truly closed; we have never seen outsiders. There is a store on site, providing essential products, toys, water (by the way, the cheapest compared to other stores in the city). The sea is quite clean, especially before lunch, after lunch there are already waves and the water is cloudy, but not dirty. We did not see any feces, which are written about in other reviews. There is a children's playground, but immediately the disadvantages begin... So: the children's playground consists of two swings (one of which is all cracked), a slide (the steps are also cracked) and a strange rocking chair on which you can't swing, the spring is either rusty , or too tight. A private beach with sand (pebbles start before entering the sea, about 1/2 of the beach), but I can’t say that they clean the beach: there are always cigarette butts, nut shells, and seeds in the sand. I would still like a more attentive attitude towards the private beach in a complex aimed at families with children. There are always dogs on the beach, this, of course, is rather a minus, there are quite a lot of them, but as I understand, this is all over Fethiye. But why they walk around the complex in flocks is a question. The restaurant on site is also not that wow - there is nothing special there for children. The wine is really tasty, we liked it. The cleaning in the apartments is poor and rarely - if you rent for a month or more - once every 10 days, if up to 14 days - they will not clean at all. The cleaning itself means changing bed linen, towels, and wiping the floor. All the shelves in the kitchen are greasy, we scrubbed them ourselves wherever we could, no one cleans under the beds, under the sofas - there are clouds of dust there. This could be the end of the global disadvantages for us, since the beautiful weather, delicious fresh fruit from the market and the warm, clean sea undoubtedly outweigh them, if we hadn’t..... been robbed! In closed apartments. From a locked safe!! Our cash was stolen, twice. And here we could close our eyes (even though this is the first time this has happened!), the amount is not that critical, if the managers of the complex at least apologized (I’m not even talking about compensation or any compliments addressed to the injured party) for current situation. But not only did we not hear an apology, on the contrary, we were very persistently repeated several times that “this is the first time this has happened to us, our staff cannot be involved in this.” It’s not clear what they meant by this, but if that’s the case, we decided to call the police. And here again we were refused any assistance from the hotel managers. (by the way, there are Russian managers). As a result, I was forced to leave the little child with my grandmother (luckily she had flown to us by this time) and go to the police station. I won’t describe these circles of hell, I spent the whole day there until 9 pm, I don’t know how vacationers without knowledge of English would have coped with this task, because even almost no one speaks English there, they were looking for a translator for me. In general, the impression of the holiday was, of course, greatly spoiled and all the words of the managers when booking that they were completely customer-oriented turned out to be an empty phrase. In general, draw your own conclusions - from the point of view of holidays with children, of course, it’s not a bad place, but don’t expect service here: the apartments themselves are also tired, in some the toilets and washing machines did not work (we talked with other guests), and by the way, when in in reviews, someone writes that when people leave, they take all their food with them - this is not true: we were in charge of cleaning after leaving, and so the cleaners literally raked everything from the shelves: sugar, salt, unopened packs of pasta, cereals, remaining vegetables - with us there's a lot left. So, believe me, this is not the greed of vacationers)). We decided for ourselves that we will not go here a second time.

A very poor experioence

We have just returned from our third visit to Sunset Beach Resort having previously stayed in a villa and in an apartment there. We booked Lighthouse 32 at Sunset Beach for three weeks through Aqua Lettings and what a disappointment. We arrived at 1 a.m. to be greeted by the manager with keys only to be asked to pay the balance. Having already paid a deposit £680 it came as a shock to have to count out £1,600 in £20/10 notes as soon as we put our cases down. We awoke the next morning to find: no welcome pack (not even a glass of water), we had slept on a blood stained pillow, no bath mats, no coat hangers, no T towels, no ironing board, no safe (have been burgled before in Calis this was of great importance to us), insufficient storage for two peoples clothing (child’s wardrobe in the second bedroom) a shower tray that was cracked and had holes in, a bath with no plug, no plugs for any sinks which is strange as we were in an environment where we are asked to save water, the laminate on the kitchen units was either hanging off or was stuck on with sticky tape. There was only one clean/bedding & towel exchange in three weeks. The manager did resolve some of the above issues after we complained. To cap it all shortly after our arrival the Sunset Beach staff removed all the mattresses from the beach beds which left them so uncomfortable to use we avoided them. All in all a very bad experience staying in dilapidated accommodation caused by owners not committed to maintaining standards and no real property management. If you are considering staying at Sunset Beach think carefully and do thorough research but I would strongly recommend avoid using Aqua Lettings.
