Great hotel

If you are looking for a well-located and welcoming base to explore Istanbul’s old city, Harran Hotel is a solid choice. The hotel is within walking distance of the Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and close to tram connections — perfect for first-time visitors.
The staff is exceptional — friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. They often go the extra mile, assisting with luggage, giving sightseeing tips, and even recommending local restaurants. Guests often mention names like Ümit, Serkan, and Nuri, who make the stay feel very personal.

Dirty, cramped, all old inside with dangerous rooms
(uncovered electrical wires and cracks on the walls in my room).
My room was full of hair, dust, dirt on the floor, chipped tea cups, cupboard that only opened halfway because the bed opposite blocked the opening...
Bathroom with tiny sink, shower with burning or cold water,
No fan inside so bad smell.
Grey and old bath towels I used mine fortunately brought in my suitcase.
They write 4 stars but it corresponds maybe-
and I say maybe-
to a 2 star European standard.....
The only good thing and 'the very central location and the kindness of the guys who work at the reception always available despite speaking little English.

Bad.

My friends and I booked this hotel two months in advance. I state that the guy in the lobby was very kind. We go up by elevator that did not stop even on the floor so it seemed immediately to us how unsafe. Once we arrived in the room we immediately perceived a bad smell in fact the walls were completely full of mold, both in the room and in the bathroom. The tiny bathroom, moreover. Speaking to the boy in the lobby he tells us that they knew about the condition of the room but it was the last one left so they didn’t even bother to warn us of the situation. They tried to find us another accommodation but without success. My friends and I had to fend for ourselves by finding another structure in the middle of the night without any compensation as the structure said that we did not really show up. The hotel is located in a fairly degraded area but still not far from the center (Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia). Hotel ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED.

Zorunda olmadığınız sürece kalmayın. Fiyatı çok uygun ama beklentinizi asla karşılamıyor. Otel eski, lavabolar pis, çarşaf ve nevresim kirli, hijyen konusunda daha dikkatli olmalılar. Güneşlik yok dışardan içerisi görünebilir. Tek iyi yanı çok merkezi ve ulaşımı kolay olması.

やめた方がいいです。
1人旅で1人部屋を予約しました。受付の方は親切でしたが自分の部屋が掃除されておらず、部屋のゴミや汚れのついたベットのシーツもそのままでした....受付の方に聞いたところそこで清潔なものに交換してもらい、後日部屋も掃除してくれるとのお話をしたのでしたが、結局翌日帰ってもアメニティの補充はあったもののコップの汚れや部屋のゴミはそのままでした。立地も急な坂の隣にあり駅から歩くのでここを無理に選ぶ必要はないと思います。清掃係に指導を入れておいて欲しいです。
