Great hotel

Great hotel, convenient location. Nearby there are restaurants, dining room (tasty), to the Blue Mosque min 6 walk.
There's a tram nearby, but it's not very audible.
Dining room overlooking the Bosphorus. The roof overlooking the Bosphorus and the Blue Mosque , very beautiful. No worse than the views in restaurants with roofs.
The friendly staff.
Everything was good.

It was excellent. We would definitely go back. The staffs were very kind and helpful and friendly. The room was very neat and clean and the breakfast was also good. It was a great stay and my son loved it.

We stayed at Hotel Sumengen in 1993 and on return to Istanbul in 2026 wanted to go back. We were not disappointed. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel is charming and spotlessly clean. The breakfast has an extensive selection of authentic Turkish foods and the breakfast room has a sea view. The location is still as characterful as we remember it, although there are now more restaurants and small supermarkets. We will stay at Sumengen again next time we visit. Thanks Joe, Can, and the rest of the team!

My family and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. It was my daughter's birthday trip.I requested a decoration room and a birthday cake. The staff were extremely helpful! My daughter didn't know the surprise that's why she was so delighted! The decoration was pretty and of course the cake was delicious!
The location and breakfast were also nice, we can access the central of the city easily. It takes only 10 minutes on foot. l love the view from the restaurant in the hotel.
I appreciate the hotel. I'd like to come back soon! Thank you so much!

It's a very bad hotel, we were not satisfied at all, hair came out of the breakfast, the employees walk around a lot, there is no discipline in the breakfast area, I will not choose this place again, it is not a sterile environment, the door is open, the kitchen is open, the sound of music, the sound of laughter, they are eating, it is very bad…
