I enjoyed my stay at Lal Hotel. The room was very cheap so I didn’t expect any high standards. Perfect for those who look for a place to sleep at night to enjoy the city during the day. Free breakfast for the price was an added bonus.

The hotel is not worth it. Cleaning is poor. All the hotel corridors is full of cigarette odour and no breakfast served. Though the receptionist are very kind and friendly. Very hospitality

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AT THIS HOTEL

I want to highlight that this hotel is horrible, No hygiene and the equipment does not work (air conditioning and REFRIGERATOR).
In addition, there are all types of ticks and insects that you can not even imagine. I killed more than 8 ticks and insects in less than 10 min.
All those reasons pushed me to do checkout at 04AM and look for another hotel.
Avoid this hotel as much as you can.

Nice position awful accomodation

The hotel is near Aksaray tram station which connects you to most of Istanbul's sightseeing but that is the only good thing about it. Rooms are quite small and hard to move in. Bed sheets and towels are covered with stains. The bathroom is in horrible state rust and molds everywhere. Breakfast same every morning and basic. WiFi works in the lobby but elsewhere disconnects often. Personal, not friendly when you tell them about problems. I wouldn't choose it ever again.
