This turned out to be one of my most enjoyable stays in Istanbul in many years!
This has been my third visit in the past twelve months to the fantastic Le Méridien Istanbul Etiler which is facing Istanbul’s second number bridge.
I had long layover of just over 21 hours at IST international airport, so I decided to spend this time enjoying one of Istanbul’s best five star hotels available in the city!
This turned out to be one of my most enjoyable stays in Istanbul in many years!
I had an early check-in that I had arranged ahead of schedule and the hotels management team.
There was also fantastic room upgrade into a corner suite, number # 2703. This happened to be the same suite that my wife and I stayed in twice last summer. It is one of the most beautiful suites valuable in the entire hotel, as it is on the 27th Floor and is corner suite that overlooks the beautiful “Second Bridge” here in Istanbul.
The service within the Le Méridien Istanbul Etiler is second to none, as the minute you arrive at the main entrance the entire staff treats you like s welcome guest. The check-in process is fast and efficient. I have found that the Front Desk Manger escorts you to your suite.
The suite has floor to ceiling window’s, and they utilize electrical curtain’s in the process of opening and closing echo set…The full terrace runs around the entire living room area of the suite, and the bedroom has its’ own smaller terrace.
In the living room they have a large work desk, so one can accomplish great deal of work.
I always enjoy the walk-in shower as it is both safe and large.
I always try to find the time to relax around their small outdoors swimming pool on the fourth floor.
Finally, what really makes the Le Méridien Istanbul Etiler so special is the Club Lounge on the 17th floor. The view from the outdoor Terrance is simply breath taking. While indoors the food buffet is often large and scrumptious. They also have very nice selection of Turkish Wines.
So, what more does a hotel need to provide?
The Le Méridien Istanbul Etiler provides everything a guest would need.

A hidden gem in Istanbul for vacationers, perfect experience!
My recent stay at Le Méridien Istanbul Etiler was made absolutely seamless and memorable, all thanks to the exceptional hospitality of Derya Tunç from the Guest Relations team. Her professional, proactive, and warm service delivered a truly personalized experience that makes any guest feel valued. She is an absolute asset to the hotel, and her dedication is the main reason this property genuinely feels like my second home in Istanbul.
As a Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite member who travels extensively, I am highly selective about where I stay, and this hotel is undeniably a true gem. Beyond the top-notch service, the culinary experience here is fantastic. The breakfast buffet offers an incredible variety, and the Happy Hour at the Executive Lounge is excellent—definitely one of the best in terms of food selection and drinks.
The hotel’s surrounding neighborhood is another huge plus. It is located in a beautiful, low-density residential area filled with lovely fruit trees, fresh flowers, and lush greenery. It is exceptionally peaceful and perfect for anyone who loves taking long walks to enjoy natural scenery.

We had a wonderful and memorable stay at this hotel!
The food at the executive lounge in the evening was delicious, and the entire staff was extremely friendly. A special shout-out to Ilayda Atmaca—she was exceptionally kind, warm, and attentive, which made our stay truly unforgettable.
The indoor and outdoor swimming pools were both well-maintained and great for relaxing. We would definitely love to visit again on our next trip!

We had such a wonderful welcome at Le Méridien Istanbul Etiler, and I especially want to recognize the amazing lounge team who made our arrival and first day at the hotel truly memorable.
