property was lovely , spa was great .
Hotel contact was difficult prior to arriving as i wanted to arrange transport from airport as was travelling alone in a country i wasnt familiar with .

FIVE STAR BOTTOM
Good afternoon!
Unfortunately, we had the opportunity to visit this "FIVE STAR" (double-quoted) hotel. We were there less than an hour. We were greeted by the scent of mold (you can see what is happening behind the wallpaper in the photo). It feels like this chair was found in a dumpster and brought to the hotel. The curtains must have been ripped and ripped by the entire hotel staff. Opening the balcony, we saw an incredible view of the construction. We invited the administrator to look at this “beauty”. When asked about the view from the balcony, we were told “this is the same view of the city)”, I asked the counter question, “do you like this view?”. I didn't get any answers. Offered to look at other numbers. For a moment, we had a deluxe room, not even a standard room. When we went into the bathtub we saw a mountain of black mold, and the photo also shows. Proceedings are now under way. So if you don't want to spoil your Istanbul impression, choose another option.

Everything was awful, the mold was awful. I booked a suite with a sea view, but they gave me something else. Plus, the room wasn't clean and there was a heavy atmosphere. I don't think I'll be returning to this hotel.

The hotel is seriously overpriced for what it offers. The quality of the accommodation and service simply does not match the premium rates being charged.
What was particularly disappointing is that it was never made clear during the booking process that our room would be located in the second building, which was far less appealing than the main property. This lack of transparency felt misleading.
The balcony was another letdown—completely unusable, with no view at all and adding no value to the room.
For the price paid, we expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, the hotel did not deliver the level of quality or honesty that guests should reasonably expect.

Overall it was a good experience, the duplex suite is spacious and well maintained, wouldn’t recommend for people with movement disabilities since they will have to go uphills
