The staff is no doubt passionate and friendly. The room is worth every penny. But the only little drawback is that encountered power shortage a few times in one night during my stays.
Overall it still worth 5 stars.

The location was perfect, the staff were nice and helpfull. I really loved the both rooms! I truly recommend this excellent hotel!

The Wings Collection is a basic mid level hotel with pretty interior design. We booked a Junior Suite on Hotels.com in May. The hotel is stylish and in a great location - great for taking pictures - but we felt like they weren’t used to women traveling alone (staff repeatedly asked if we were in the same room), and we had a few hiccups which would prevent us from returning.
Pros:
- Location! Very central
- Stylish, modern design
- Clean
- Large room, comfy bed
- Kitchen and cleaning staff were professional
- Minimal street noise
Cons:
- The porter who brought us to our room entered the room and then stood in our room aimlessly until my friend hastily gave him a tip. As two women, we felt uncomfortable with him hovering, also we only had backpacks but he even didn’t offer us any assistance.
- The bathroom was stylish, but the doors were oddly heavy/difficult to push, and the shower/toilet stalls were quite small. May be difficult for people with limited mobility.
- We booked the Junior Suite because the photos featured bathtubs and a big sized bed. The room we were given had two twin beds and a shower. When we said we wanted a big bed (I haven’t slept in a twin since school!), we were told to push the twins together. If we had known the room category did not include a tub or a large bed, we would’ve booked a cheaper room or different hotel.
- Breakfast options were very limited, certain products were bad quality (stale bread, cheap cheese and meat)

Disappointed Stay

Great looking boutique hotel, near Taksim Square, with oversized rooms and some lovely staff ( namely Omar at front desk and the ladies in the breakfast room), but otherwise our stay was disappointing.
Our room was not cleaned very well, coffee ( bland Nescafé)was not replaced for 3 days, the TV had no English language channels ( even though it said it did, and as we had 3 rooms, no one could get English language on their TV.
For guests from English language countries, communication was difficult and for a hotel purporting to be be of a high standard this left a lot to be desired ( at one stage I waited at front desk for someone that spoke English to ask for some directions, for 15 minutes, as no staff were anywhere to be found ).
This hotel could be so good, but falls down on little things that matter.
