Sophisticated boutique hotel in new town
The support team at The Wings Hotel Pera were so kind and helpful during our 8-day stay: Fatih Hocalar at breakfast was extremely friendly, our housekeeper, Fatos kept our room spotless. And Bharat the porter was helpful and spoke excellent English.
The hotel itself is a very nice, boutique style hotel. It’s located one street away from the main shopping area and is surrounded by hundreds of restaurants. In short, a good location in the new town - it felt very local and safe.
Our room - a premium delux - was very comfortable and big enough for a sofa bed for the third person. Located at the front of the hotel, it was quite noisy at night - the restaurant opposite had live music, there’s a bar outside and traffic is noisy.
Given it’s a city centre hotel, there’s no outside space (other than a small smoking area on the street at the front.
Breakfast (accessed by a lift which goes to every floor) is on the top floor with lovely views. It’s a Turkish breakfast served on a platter with multiple small dishes of olives, cheese, meats, honey, etc - very nice and good quality but for an extended stay became repetitive.
There’s lots of practical things like kettle, fridge, safe, water, coffee and nice touches like dressing gowns. It all felt sophisticated and I would recommend this hotel.

Lovely mid-range boutique hotel, great location
We had a great 6 night stay in a spacious deluxe room. The colour palette and decor is very elegant and there is plenty of space for large storage. Whilst clean, housekeeping was a bit hit and miss with what would be refreshed. After a long day of exploring, we enjoyed being able to sit in the window seat and lounge with the windows open, listening to the sounds of Istanbul below. Although in Pera it is set back on a quieter Street with a few good restaurants within 10m and a ton of other options within a 5-10 minute walk.
We had breakfast included in our rate and we were very satisfied with it. It was the same each day although you could choose different egg options and was overall good quality. The restaurant is on the top floor with a wonderful view of Istanbul. Compliments to the breakfast team who gave excellent service and always started our day off with a smile.
Front desk were generally pleasant.
This is a great midrange option.

It was a nice trip.
The hotel was very good. Sometimes, only the doors won't open. Breakfast was good. Coaches Fatih, Büşra Yılmaz, and Kubilay Seymaner provided good service. Fatoş and İlkay were also good at cleaning.

Perfect Hotel and Location
This was my second stay at Wings Hotel and it was just as excellent as the first. The hotel is spotless and very comfortable — everything feels brand new. The rooms are unusually spacious for European standards and the bathrooms are large, more like what you’d expect in a U.S. hotel. Modern amenities and a comfortable bed made my stay very relaxing.
Breakfast comes in generous portions, and the dining area offers a beautiful view of the Bosphorus so you can enjoy your meal or drinks with a spectacular backdrop. The hotel staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. Last winter I slipped on the snow and the team went to the pharmacy for me, then checked on me that evening and again the next day to make sure I was okay and had everything I needed. I’m very grateful to all the staff, especially the receptionists. I’ll be returning again this summer and happily recommend Wings Hotel to others.
