My favourite hotel whilst in Türkiye

This hotel was beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. They even gave me a treat for my birthday which I was celebrating. The view from our room was wonderful. I loved looking out each morning at the water and the people walking along the waters edge. The chef is very good the food was amazing, though a bit pricey (but worth it) The gym was well equipped. The pool area has a fantastic view.

5 star comfort.

The Marriott Izmir certainly lived up to its reputation. 5 * . The saying is 'you pay for what you get'. We were upgraded to a side sea view and it was beautiful, air conditioning on at all times as it reached 41.5°C.
Depending on your budget, the accommodation is fabulous but don't touch the stocked fridge as prices are exorbitant.
Also be aware that its location is in a banking district and not a typical shopping area, while there was a large area called Kapalicarsi which is a 7 min walk. You are also situated on Kona Pier where ferries go regularly.
Rooftop outdoor pool but policy is you can only eat and drink what you purchase at the pool bar.
Very safe as there is security at the entrance of the hotel.
As for the staff, each and everyone were so helpful but especially Denize who is the Guest Relations supervisor, she was so helpful and directed us to places to visit.
We certainly will return again and look forward to the comfort.

Best Marriott experience ever

İzmir Marriott Hotel is probably the best Marriott experience globally.
The staff is extremely kind, generous and sweet. They always go above and beyond and make us feel at home every step of the way.

The location is unbeatable. It's on the water on Kordon (the promenade) with spectacular views. It's located very centrally and only minutes of walking distance from Konak and Alsancak.
Amazing spa with Hamam, sauna and steam room that is open until 10pm was such a blessing and the hotel has a very decent gym.
The rooftop pool/restaurant is a cherry on top on a sunny day.
Guest Relations Supervisor Deniz treated us like family and she remembers us every time we come back.
Eren Bey and the manager are very considerate and attentive. Executive chef personally attend to guests to make sure everyone enjoys the meals.
Top notch hotel, with the most decent pricing.
I keep coming back to this hotel every year and it feels like home every time.
