TOILET FLOODING PROBLEM
The hotel staff (reception, kitchen, and cleaning) were all friendly and helpful. I had the opportunity to stay at the hotel for two nights. At night, a foul odor was coming from the toilet. I thought it might be due to the wind blowing back into the water because it's by the sea, so I didn't pay much attention and slept with the toilet door closed. The next night, the smell intensified considerably by morning. I then peeked inside the toilet to see where it was coming from and saw that the toilet bowl and the floor drain were connected. I don't know if that was done later or if it was a renovation, but the water was backing up from the toilet bowl onto the floor when the flush was pulled, and that dirty water was causing the smell. Luckily, I spent most of my time outside and only used the toilet for sleeping, but everything else, including breakfast, was great. I didn't have any parking problems either. I explained the situation to the reception on check-out, and I think they listened or understood. I've attached pictures.
